Food delicious, arrived fast! Not pricy... worth the trial. Used to dine at bamboo garden but that has closed permanently so sad. Need to find a new Chinese restaurant quickly!

This has to be hands-down the worst food ever. Even the broccoli is nasty. Save your money and go somewhere else. I grew up here in South Austin and honestly FireBowl is always going to deliver good quality food. I’m a huge fan of mom and Pop shops, but this one is just gross. This is my opinion, but I would not come here if you want tasty food.

You will never be hungry after you order from here. They always give you large portions. The fried rice is ok but the rest of the food is really good. They usually gave the food ready in about 15 minutes and the process are very reasonable

They served me rotten shrimp and then tried to gaslight me about it, as if I didn't know what shrimp looks and tastes like. The rest of the dish was awful, too. It was literally the worst shrimp fried rice I've ever tasted.

I've been trying to find the best Chinese food to replace stingy PANDA EXPRESS and I was recommended this place and let me tell you, this place has the best food I can find in Austin. I would definitely recommend people to eat 1st wok Chinese food.

I view Americanized Chinese food as separate from Chinese food - not necessarily because the flavors and ingredients are different but more so because they fulfill different cravings. While I consider soup dumplings or dim sum as comfort food, Americanized Chinese food feels more like a guilty pleasure. While Panda Express fulfills that craving very well, I like having other local options, and First Wok is one of them. The portions are huge and I think good for the price. My favorite thing here is their Crab Puffs (aka Crab Rangoons) - it is an extremely satisfying version of it. I also like their General Tso's Chicken and Sesame Chicken. Their Orange Chicken is okay but it's hard to beat the Panda Express version that forever stays in my mind. I've also tried the Sweet and Sour Pork but it is not done well here so I would try another place if that is what you're craving.

Visited ATX for work and decided to find some Asian comfort food. Since the reviews were pretty solid I decided to try this spot. GOOD/PROS: The portion size, taste of the fried rice (except they over used soy sauce), huge amount of meat in the dish, speed of preparation, and service at the store. BAD/CONS: They sent me home with the most unappealing, inedible, and creepy looking chicken wings I've ever seen. They literally could not be eaten. Because that was able to come out the kitchen, I won't visit them again.

The chicken is dark meat and it was small portions. They need to use white chicken meat. Dark meat is cheap.

Been wanting to leave a a while. I’ve been coming here for the last few years and the food has been great. It really do serve a lot of food. They separate the entrée and the rice which a lot of other restaurants do not do it literally feeds 2 to 3 people I highly recommend.

I had the combination fried rice and the hot and sour soup. The fried rice is drenched with soy sauce. There is no flavor except the soy sauce. The meat, especially the beef, is very gristly and I have to spit it out every time. The hot and sour soup has a good flavor, but it is very watery. The ingredients are mostly egg and mushroom. The portion is very big and cheap, but the quality is just not there.
