I had the Waygu cheeseburger. It was really good! I didn't really know what to expect from this place, but don't be afraid. This place is on the outside wall of JW Marriott. I remember seeing this place when I stayed in DT Austin several years ago, and it's still here. This time around, I was in town for a concert, staying around the corner. There is outdoor seating, but there is inside seating too, just look to the right of the place and there's a sign on a door. My group ordered on the iPad-like kiosk on on the left side of the counter. It was pretty simple, which I appreciate. Staff was nice and our order was correct. We all enjoyed our food. My adult daughter got the chicken strips, which looked pretty good (homemade?) and had homemade ranch dressing to go with it.

Burgers are excellent but they have now started to charge for grilled onions and regular onions as well this is reficulous and wagyu burger tastes just like the regular burger so don't waste your money

Listen. This place didn’t need to be as good as it was to get business but they went above and beyond. Good, cheap, quality food that is super fresh—I’ve certainly payed way more for a frozen burger or stale fries. Their veggie burger is house-made with fresh ingredients and is so delicious. I don’t live in Austin and love checking out local food scenes when I travel. I ended up going to the Burger Bar for dinner two nights in a row (instead of trying a new place) because it was THAT good.Also, great music, great staff, great vibes. Will come back here for sure!
