Austin used to suffer from a lack of tamales, except around the holidays. Not anymore, Delicious Tamales fulfill all my tamale needs! These are smaller Norteño style tamales, but they are packed with flavor. My favorite are the jalapeño cheese! They also sell barbacoa on the weekends, totally worth the wait. I moved to Austin several years ago and have always had to go back to San Antonio for a taste of home. These tamales are the same ones my family has been getting every year for Christmas ever since I can remember. It was amazing.

Delicious Tamales is sooooo tasty. I tried them for the first time and had the chicken tomatillo cheese variety. Each tamale was brimming with filling and it was just so savory and so good. I can't say enough about how tasty there were. And the service was super fast for takeout!
