I love the elevated, health-focused bean menu. Makes eating less meat very enjoyable and gives me new inspiration for bean cooking.

Aaron (the owner) was super nice and hospital. His food was fresh and very healthy. I loved the different heirloom beans he used — I never tasted beans that good — which sounds funny to say but is true.It was really nice to get a super healthy and clean but still flavorful meal after a while! We will definitely be back.

Chili is great! Traveled from home (Campfire) to the other side of the world (Bollywood). The naan bites? The best!

Stumbled upon this gem on South 1st and was able to try a variety of fresh samples. As a plant based eater, I was blown away at the creativity given to the menu. The Campfire Chili is hands down the best chili I’ve tasted. The owner Aaron was very welcoming and educated me on Scarlett Runner Beans as well as the health benefits of the recipes. This will be an Austin staple for our family!

Frijole is amazing! The food is a delicious and eclectic mix of flavors that are delivered in each bite. I purchased more food than I could eat in one sitting. Even reheated it is amazing! I live north but will be frequenting Frijole regularly for the good food and the chill vibe.

Rip n Tear (Kinozased)
12 dollars for two mushy, unsatiating bean tacos alongside some free chips; probably supplied to compensate for the lack of texture and calories. Every item, while graciously sampled to me, felt distinctly lacking in its flavor profile. While not bad, it felt like something was missing from each one respectively. Meat eaters beware. Vegetarians, your mileage may vary.

Tried this place on a whim and wow was it a nice surprise. I tried a couple of tacos and they were amazing with a rich blend of spices that really hits the spot. The pinto paté literally gave me goose bumps. Highly recommend you give this place a try.

Amazing food, amazing guy. Walked up and he instantly offered me samples and walked me through how he made everything. Food was beyond amazing. Something you’d eat at a restaurant with a year long waiting
