Went through all the hassle of downloading their app to make a reservation days ahead for a first date. One whole hour before the date and reservation time they sent a text message stating, SURPRISE! the reservation was in fact NOT confirmed! This left me scrambling to find an alternative venue.I guess these guys are a little too cool for school. Needless to say I won't be trying again. What a perfect example of the rude, pretentious mess Austin has become.

I went there with a friend and has such a great time. We got one and half hour on our table and was reminded when there was around 30min left. Service, vibes and drinks were amazing, although unfortunately I forgot my sunglasses at the place and never heard back from the staff, even after going back there to look for it. They said they couldn’t look at the table I was because there was another party there, which I understand. They told me they would look for it and get back to me. We are now 3 days after the incident, I sent many texts checking in it and didn’t receive anything back. Very disappointed at the lack of effort since this is a nice bar and definitely not cheap. I won’t go back.

Have you ever found your version of Cheers? You know, where everybody knows your name and you feel welcome and seen upon entering? I've been searching this for many years, but my vision of my Cheers was always dimly - yet warmly - lit, with incredibly talented and knowledgeable bartenders who are also super friendly and kind, and patrons who are unpretentious and respectful and nice. Well, I've finally found what I've been looking for in Here Nor There - the ideal bar for me! This beautiful speakeasy has even more beautiful people working here, crafting the artistic cocktails that send patrons like me into rapturous delight! Thank you so much to Joseph, Randy, Gustavo, and everyone else at HNT for making my latest trip to Austin special. After three nights of experiencing the beauty of HNT, I realized that you're my favorite bar - even if it's 230 miles away from where I live! See you next time I'm in Austin. Slainte!

uuuuummmmmm yeaaahhhhhh. love these speak easy concepts and this one is excellent. just the right amount of trouble to get in. fun and engaging decor. kind and capable service. exceptional cocktails served aside playful poetry matched with adorable illustrations. This experience is a feast for the senses. do not miss this one.

The idea of this hidden invite bar is a cool concept. When you walk in, you're immediately welcomed with a bear holding a tray of some bubbly. What better way to start a good night?Inside the darkness and candles set the tone. Their drink menu shows how they artistically concocted each one with a meaning behind it.Do note - you are timed. A lady came by to tell us our time was almost up but I expressed that our waiter had never come back to ask us if we would even like a second round. She ended up taking our order but I feel maybe the original waiter could have been a little more attentive.I think maybe these types of drinks may just not be my style. I wasn't a fan of my concoction. A majority of us ended up getting bubbly for our 2nd round.With all that said, the place was impressive in theory for a hidden bar and the idea of the drinks well thought out.

Delicious cocktails a raconteur, my favorites were Picnic and Family Gathering. Both were multidimensional, complex drinks where I could taste the components- unique and delicious.The staff were incredibly hospitable, and the ambiance perfect for a date night.

I looove a good speakeasy and this one did not disappoint. grateful I was able to sit at the bar to have the chance to chat with the bartenders, Joseph and Randy. the barhand, Gus, was also so friendly and knowledgeable. they gave so many good recommendations (huge thanks to Joseph for his Google Maps collection) and every drink was a 10. a highlight of my trip.
