A complete surprise, the huarache is the best huarache I have had in Austin. The masa was thinner and I think they fried a little longer, so that the bottom of the shoe was not grainy. For the barbacoa, they added green onion and tomato into the simmering barbacoa, adding two more layers of deep taste. I love this place. It’s next to a gas station on Lamar. It has such great food the staff is so kind. HOWEVER, you must order and pick up your food yourself if you want it done right.
