First time here after 10 years in Austin and gotta say i love this little bar. My spouse works close by so waiting for them to leave work i stopped in for a few drinks. Paul and Tory at the bar were incredibly nice and helpful. I asked them a plethora of questions regarding eateries around the area and how business was with SXSW and they didn’t hesitate to humor me and answer my questions. Loved this Johnny Cash-meets-saw-mill lil dive bar! The vibe was mellow (we were there on a Sunday early afternoon), the staff was attentive and fast, and the drinks were excellent. I recommend the Cash Fashioned, a tequila based spin on an Old Fashioned, or the Shades of Green mocktail. Outside on the patio is a GIANT tree named George, a gorgeous oak with enormous spreading branches providing great shade. And bonus, the bathroom was clean!

This place is it! The atmosphere is great! The service is extremely pleasant and engaging.
