I have been to quite a few coffee shops in the Austin area. Merit didn't impress me due to their the price, service, and ambiance. When I placed an order I asked for an iced smores latte, somehow it came to about 10 dollars excluding tip. I understand that some coffee shops charge more, but most wouldn't charge more than 6 or 7 for a comparable cup of coffee. ivd been goin to this place for more than 4years and the ambience and coffee is great. it does get busy so seating is not guaranteed. clean bathroom is a plus. was excited about the vegan oatmeal bar, but now i regret not getting the hippie bar. the hippie bar is a sweet, chewy, pseudo trailmix kinda peanutbutter brownie. deffo rec if youre a granola gal or if u like PB

You’re lucky to get a table at lunch time on a weekday if you have a group. Latte was decent! They warm up any of the pastries if you like. However, I do not recommend warming up a plain croissant as it was too dry and not fun to eat.
