I absolutely love Merit Coffee – it's among my favorite coffee shops and brands. Their house coffee, with its delightful brown sugar and milk chocolate notes, is a great choice for any coffee enthusiast.
I absolutely love this coffee shop, but I have to agree with some of the below reviews that the same 15 or so individuals seem to take up 100% of the seating for the whole day on their laptops. I completely understand working from a coffee shop while drinking your coffee and enjoying a pastry for an hour or two, but the whole day? Stopped by while staying in Austin for the weekend. Easy to get to know S. Lamar, parking was a little hilly. Cute little shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Got an iced latte with caramel syrup which was the perfect amount of sweet. Also ordered an everything bagel with chive cream cheese which was just okay.
