Wow wow wow ? If you're in Austin (even if you're out of town) you have to try Sabor Tapatio! This place is what dreams are made of! The people are so kind and the food is out of this world. I highly recommend the Birria and the Chorizo tacos! Consome and horchata are a must!
This is one of the better birria taco joints in Austin. We tried multiple choices from this food truck & of course birria over the course of a week. For reference, we tried La Tunita 512 & Taqueria Ceibas. This one came in second. Birria is on point - a bit greasy but be aware, the carne is barbacoa vs. brisket. Good nonetheless. The consomme is good and flavorful but behind La Tunita but much more flavorful than Ceibas. Good price point too.
