This place never disappoints. It can be pricey. But it's home cooking, with a welcoming staff, and a worth the wait taste.May I suggest the combination gumbo.And cornbread bowl (which only available on Sundays I think). The menu rotates, but it hasn't disappointed.
My boyfriend’s family is from east Texas and he is very particular about his gumbo. He says the roux here is really good. I had gumbo with chicken, sausage, shrimp and crab. It was delicious and had so much flavor. The waiting staff was really sweet and tentative. We will for sure be coming back!

Good Gawd!!!! My husband and I travel for work from state to state…. THIS is, by far, as good as Cajun can get!!! Crispy, well seasoned, catfish and chicken…. And the sides are oozing with “that sauce”!!! I could eat her LITERALLY EVERYDAY!! Greatful for a wonderful experience and good Ol’ home cooking!!!
