Ordered two chicken sandwiches and fries. The chicken was poorly fried - lacked good outer texture and it was dry on the inside. The fries were also chewy and not crispy, lacking flavor as well. Finally, service was quite poor. When we initially showed up the worker made us wait and eventually told us to use the app, the food took long to get ready, and they did not inform us that the food was ready via text and I had to come follow up in person at the truck. Would not recommend, better food trucks at Radio Coffee. Also, overpriced. This place sucks.

The food is fantastic, but the tip situation is insane/ridiculous. I won’t be ordering here again. Plenty of other good burgers around. During the order process, it adds an auto gratuity 5%. I wanted to add more tip but the only options are 20, 22, and 25%. No custom tip option. Adding one of those options on top of 5% is ridiculous. But if you don’t tip well, most people worry their food will be messed with in some way. Please add a custom tip option.

Either I got the wrong order, or their brat was actually just a beef frank… regardless, a $9 brat and $3 fries is pretty steep. Took half an hour to get my order out too. Probably won’t be returning.

They have the best breakfast sandwich I’ve maybe ever had in my life? I’ve evangelized about it to so many of my friends and they all agree. My only regret is it’s only served on the weekends, but it’s well worth the wait!

Burgers are a big deal in our household. So when I told my family that I found the best burger in Austin, then were dubious...until they tried the burger from Shortwave. Holy moly! It's a smash burger with a soft bun. I get mine with extra pickled. This is a fantastic burger. I put it up there with Jewboys.

Paul hot dog was good! But the fries were undercooked and underwhelming. The biggest let down was the chicken sandwich. It was fried to a crisp dark dark brown and had a rubbery off putting taste. We took off the fried breading to give it another chance and we still couldn't handle the taste so we threw it away. The food did come out in a reasonable amount of time.

I see a lot of complaints about the wait and I have to say, it’s worth it. This is not your disgusting, fast food drive through- they make everything basically from scratch. The fries are literal sliced potatoes with an amazing seasoning and the burger has so much flavor. It may be a little pricey but if you want a cheap meal, you’ll get a cheap meal.The only thing I would want them to change is their ketchup. I wish it was fresh and not the little packets.Thanks y’all! I think y’all are doing great! One of my favorite food trucks in Austin. ?
