“First time here , stopped for breakfast/lunch .Place was clean including the bathroom so that’s always nice . I ordered a burger which was delicious including the seasoned fries. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back .“

“There's nothing fancy about Dallas Diner. A small place with a few tables on the inside, patio tables outside, and several stools at the counter. The menu is classic diner fare with daily specials. In addition to the extensive regular menu there are menus for kids and seniors. My friend and I ordered off the senior menu. We both had eggs over easy and pancakes. She had bacon, I had the sausage patty. We both had coffee. Everything was prepared as ordered and tasty. And, to my surprise, filling. Service was cheerful, attentive, and helpful. Parking directly in front can be tight but there is adequate parking close by. A great place for breakfast. I'll try lunch another day.“

“5/5. I tried the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs and it was solid. I liked the Shrimp and Grits better though. But the Parmesan Breakfast Potatoes and the French toast….will have me coming back EVERY SINGLE TIME. It is so good and The patio is amazing. I would say it’s only worth to come here for the patio. They have a beautiful garden outside that supplies their herbs and vegetables. And I believe our servers name was Holden and he was great! We added on French toast late and he made it happen to where we only waited a few minutes. For peace of mind, I would make a reservation if coming on the weekend.“

“Heard mom talk about this and was around so took parents to get food. It was a great experience and well served. I did get the chicken and waffle special which was 4 small tenders and a waffle but worth it to me. I tried to get a picture of all but they had started eating so I took of what was still left. Definitely will be coming back and price is very reasonable.“

“Best service and with lots of smiles. I love eating breakfast for dinner, and they're great at making breakfast foods. They use real blueberries, unlike the waffle house, which uses some strange square gum-like substance. Seriously, don't settle for anything other than real fruit! You deserve a great American breakfast with bacon. Never trust anyone who doesn't like bacon.“

“Loved walking into the place and being seated immediately. Our server Nevaeh G. Immediately said she was in training. Well she was courteous and very attentive to us. I ordered coffee and told her it wasn't good. She took the cup and went and made fresh coffee. Our food was delicious. The cooks presentation of an over medium egg was the best I have had. My husbands food was cooked with love. When checking out, I expressed how pleased the service was and she informed us, our server was 16 and her first job. “I came in with my family and our server was Emilia. I highly recommend to be seated in her section! She is so nice and very funny, she explained and helped us navigate the menu for what we wanted, she’s also very attentive to your needs during your dinning experience, our cups never hit empty because she was refilling constantly without us having to say a word! We can’t wait to come back in again!“

“We host a group of 20 high school students from Vietnam who won the national robotics competition to come to Dallas for the international robotics competition and have dinner here tonight. As the kids don't use to American food portion size (which normally double or tripple size compare to their regular meals at hometown) Jesissca was patient and listening to our concern, she suggested other menu options and be very flexible with us. “Chase, our server, was so incredibly kind and patient. He had a group of about 25 individuals who all had separate tabs, were very rude and standing in the walk ways, making Chase’ job even harder… Chase was the only server and he had 4 other tables, in addition to the group of 25. Our food came out fast and hot, he was attentive… as this huge group left, being in hospitality management, I was being nosy and watching what he made in tips… (a lot of them paid cash)We became friendly, and I was paying close attention to how he’d been treated and how TRASHED these customers left their tables and area. I asked him what he made and unfortunately it was less than $1/customer. It wasn’t that that even upset him as much as how LONG it would’ve taken him to clean up (by himself, only person working on floor) and have other tables ready for the next rush that was walking in.My husband and I snapped into action and helped bus/clear his tables so he could tend to the next customer groups coming in.Denny’s should recognize him as an outstanding employee AND consider adding another server or busser to the overnight shift.Chase, you changed my life tonight. “Nice small breakfast diner. Love the old school charm they have here. Decent service and not too long of a wait time. Only complaint will be not answering call in orders. No matter how busy make sure to give the best customer service possible. Other than that this is a hidden gem to try.“
