“I’ve been to Kate’s a few times since we moved to bay city. I am always always happy. I tend to recommend my friends and family who visit to have a meal there. Today I went with my 6 month old for breakfast and a coffee after a long night of little sleep and that first tooth coming through. The coffee was amazing. Ms. Theresa’s food was even better. It literally made me cry because I just needed that good home cooked meal and love.”

The steak and cheese enchiladas was great and cooked exactly as requested. I just moved back to the area but the family here knew lots of other patrons! Lots of greetings going on.”

“Longstanding K-2 steakhouse in Bay City, TX, is always a good place to go and eat. Only the locals know that you will be seated. Visitors will figure it out because there is no sign to advise you'll be seated. Once seated, though, the waitress was kind and placed the customary rolls on the table. She took our order and brought it back to us in a timely manner. I ordered prime rib steak and 6 shrimps with a baked potato. Very good, lot of fat on the 10oz prime rib. Shrimp was ok, nothing special. Salad bar was very good, and staff was using gloves when replenishing the bar. The creamy Mexican cheese soup was good and very peppery. It was a great meal and time with family, nothing spectacular, though and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s was not warranted.”

“As someone visiting from out of town for a four-week rotation, finding a place with reliable Wi-Fi was critical to completing my residency applications. Luckily, I discovered Mainstreet Coffee and Wine Bar. This true gem has been a community staple since Mrs. Lisa opened it in 2000. Her warmth and hospitality were immediately evident as she kindly let me use the outdoor seating area, which was the perfect spot for focusing on my work.

This café quickly won a special place in my heart—not only because the coffee is exceptional, but because it saved me when my hotel Wi-Fi failed me at a crucial moment. I ended up sitting outside at 1 AM, grateful to be able to submit my applications on time thanks to their fast internet connection.

Mainstreet Coffee and Wine Bar goes beyond being just a functional workspace. It excels in its offerings. Undoubtedly, the coffee is the best in town. You can go right if you're in the mood for a perfectly balanced cortado or a rich cappuccino. The clean and inviting aesthetic makes it a lovely place to relax or focus.

I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great coffee and a welcoming environment. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit—this place has earned my loyalty!”
