“Every time I stop by on the way to China TX I'll get me some extremely delicious brisket or sausage. Their prices are reasonable and sitting at the picnic table enjoying the Texas weather and BBQ brings subtle joy to my life. 10/10 would recommend anytime.“
“I ordered the chicken wings with dirty rice and fries. Everything was delicious. Chicken wings were moist and well seasoned, and they definitely have some of the best dirty rice in town. This is also the only place I know of where you can buy a fried Cornish hen. They also have fried turkey legs. Will definitely be back to try to fried porkchop dinner and the fish dinner.“
“I think I just ate one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. Perfect, everything was perfect. Could not have asked for a better waitress. “Have not been there since I moved to mid county. Huge mistake! My son and I visited just before closing on July 4th. Greeted with a smile, served some of the best barbecue ever. Staff happily allowed us to dine in even as they were closing! If you have not been, what are you waiting for??Fabulous experience!“
“First time going to Mack’s and I have to say the owners are doing right. Very friendly and amazing food. Tried the brisket taco and omg literally one of the best tacos I’ve tasted in my life. Me and my wife will def be going often. Today I ordered the rib plate with Mac and cheese and dirty rice. So much delicious food for the price I can eat twice out of a plate. Rib plate is where it is at ??. If you live in bevil oaks we have the best place right here by us check them out. ?“
“Nothing brings me more joy than giving a wonderful review for an establishment that deserves every word. Me and my husband visited Charlie’s today, and we both purchased the pork chop sandwich. OH my goodness, the sandwich was spectacular. It was moist, juicy, smoked to perfection, with some of the greatest bbq sauce I have tasted in a very long time; not too sweet, not too spicy, it was literally just right. Extremely succulent. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other items on the menu.“
“This is a beautiful restaurant with a very friendly staff. I stopped in and looked at the menu and determined 50 to 75 bucks a plate was more than I wanted to spend that day. The menu was a little complex to understand, even after the waiter explained it. Either way, I will have to come back some other time when I am not super hungry and want to make more time to review the menu.“
“Top 5 BBQ places i have ever eaten at!!!! I have been to a lot. Homemade bbq sauce, not needed dry rub and smoke alone so good. Come early or they start running out. Out of all homemade sausage, brisket and burnt ends when we arrived. All sides are fantastic.“
