You have to try the crawfish it's the best and the salmon and vegetables taste really good a must try definitely.Kid-friendliness: It's very quiet and the lights are always down It's very peaceful but a little pricey bring your wallet. But it's worth the price.

The food was amazing. I got the Chicken Pho but subbed the noodles for ramen. Unfortunately, that was a $4 add-on to the ticket. Learned a lesson there, but I will be going back.

Food is actually good but feels like you’re eating in a warehouse. It wouldn’t take much to divide the cavernous space up, install comfortable benches and have a lighting consultant design good lighting. Would make all the difference.

Great Food, Lackluster ServiceSweet Basil consistently delivers amazing food that keeps us coming back, but unfortunately, our recent visit left us with mixed feelings. The culinary experience was, as always, exceptional. However, we were disappointed with the hostess's lack of greeting and apparent disinterest when we spoke to her last Sunday she didn't even reply or acknowledge us. Despite our love for the food, the initial interaction with the hostess fell short. A warm welcome would enhance the overall dining experience and match the high quality of the cuisine instead of a sour look ? on her face like she would rather be somewhere else.. We hope to see an improvement in the hostess's customer service in the future and at least welcome the guests with a hello.

Had dinner at Sweet Basil while visiting with family in Beaumont. The food was excellent and the flavors were fabulous. The staff seemed to struggle with seating as almost every table that has six seats only had two people eating at the table while tables with four seats were empty. Our party of five had to wait quite a while for a party of two to finish eating and leave while tables with four seats sat empty. The service was good and the staff were warm and friendly. The. Hot Mess Fries were crazy good. One person had the Sweet Banh Bao w/pork belly and really enjoyed the dish. The Drunken Chicken was very good. The F.O.B Shrimp with Honey Walnut Sauce was excellent. The Rice Bowl w/chicken was wonderful. And the Spicy Hue soup had the most AMAZING and delicious flavors. It is just a bit spicy but explodes with flavors. We can’t wait to come back and try some more dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.

Good food, the server was very careful to help us with allergy information, and that means a lot to me.

I took my 4 kids here after we did a bit of shopping. We all loved everything. It is a bit pricey, but it is so worth it. Their presentation is beautiful. The service was great. The waiter didn't even write anything down. (He used his notepad in his brain)I am going to take my hubby to try soon. I won't be bringing my kids back. [Not because of anything the restaurant did. They are too young to truly appreciate the high-end food here is all]

We were passing through the area, making our way back to Florida, and stopped for the night in Beaumont. Looking around for a place to eat dinner after checking in at our hotel, we first went by a Vietnamese restaurant on the West side of town... but it just didn't have the right feel for us when we looked at it from the outside.Fortunately, Sweet Basil was next on our list, and we were happy with the food and service.Inside, it has a lot of roominess to the dining area because there is no false ceiling. This helps immensely when it comes to noise from other tables, as you do not get sound reflecting from the roof. It does give an odd feeling to your spatial awareness, however. We started off with some dumplings and summer rolls, which were quite good except for the dipping sauce for the summer rolls... that turned out to be somewhat lacking in flavour, which was sad. Really though, that was the only low point of our experience. We both had nice bowls of pho for our main course, and that was excellent. The serving sizes are pretty standard for a Vietnamese restaurant (I have been to many, and they all use the same size bowls for the pho). The service was good too, and we were well taken care of. If I am back in Beaumont during the dinner hour, I will be seeking this place out again.
