“We really like this spot. We regularly come for breakfast. They have great oatmeal and egg dishes, as well as pancakes, etc. My husband loves the patty melt and the turkey club sandwich. We like that it is family run. Great staff, they work well together and are always filling up your water and coffee. The staff is friendly. The food is regular diner food with extras. You can now get avocado toast with an egg, you can get chorizo , and Friday is gumbo day. I think Thursday is chicken and dumplings. They have fresh fruit cups. I love the veggie omelette. They are fresh vegetables, not canned or frozen making the omelette delicious. It’s a pleasant place to have breakfast. Noise level low. Hands on service with a smile! We feel welcomed.Dietary restrictions: Sugar free syrup“
“Discovering Dandelion Café was a delightful surprise! Despite missing out on their famed chicken and waffles, I savored every bite of their delectable lemon and blueberry French toast sticks, alongside a mouthwatering salmon BLT. The quality of their dishes surpassed my expectations, firmly establishing Dandelion Café as one of my top picks for breakfast and brunch in Houston. Their beautiful and meticulously clean space, coupled with attentive customer service, elevate the dining experience to new heights. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in their culinary delights – make your way to Dandelion Café soon!“
“Had an amazing fried chicken and waffle that was just put on the menu. The bartender/barista was incredibly friendly and made a great Americano. Going at odd hours of the day, I got to see the team interact with one another organically. It was a great experience and there are outlets under the bar for remote workers.“
“The service and food are top-notch. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She was telling me all about the desserts and made some excellent recommendations on which ones to try. It's a family owned and family run business. I highly recommend giving them a try.“
“I always know to count on this place when I'm hungry. The food is delicious, the workers are great, and the environment is comfortable. Liz served me today with the greatest attitude and respect! Will definitely keep being my favorite restaurant!“
“This is legit the best vegan bakery I have ever been to in my life. Every single thing they make is uniquely designed and delicious- more tasty than any vegan pastries I have ever had. It doesn’t even matter what flavor it is or type of pastry, everything tastes amazing. If I had thousands of dollars to donate to something, it would be this place.“
“I frequent this location a lot for good reason! The food is of such great quality and the atmosphere is so refreshing. Everyone here is incredibly sweet and willing to help! Jorge especially is such a friendly face. He is so attentive and kind. He made our experience great. I will continue to frequent for as long as I can!“
“I always stop by after my workout for one of the juices in the menu and I have never been disappointed. The service is so good, everyone is super friendly and the juices are very good. My favorite is the Anti flammaberry, i could get one every day. They also have detox packages. Highly recommend !“
“I visited here for the first time with a friend earlier this week. Everything was very tasty! I had a vanilla latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The vanilla latte was creamy and not too sweet. The flavor of the coffee also came through wonderfully. The sandwich was also delicious. And the proprietor was very kind and helpful! I'll definitely be back and be bringing more friends.“
“This is my spot! I was put on to the Lavender Latte and it is now my go to! They also give impeccable customer service. Shout out to Marco, Kevin, Julius and everyone I don’t know by name lol. You all are absolutely fantastic, and appreciated.Warmest Regards,Alesha B.“
“Active Passion Coffee is my absolute favorite spot! Seriously, I can't get enough. The vibe is so welcoming, and the food? Oh my goodness. You HAVE to try their Kimchi Grilled Cheese with a fried egg and bacon – it's out of this world. And get this: they make their own kimchi in-house. How cool is that?Their coffee? Let's just say I'm addicted. And the staff? They're like old friends, always there with a smile and ready to chat. Whether you're popping in for a quick pick-me-up or settling in for a lazy brunch, this place nails it. Trust me, you won't regret it. Five stars all the way!“
“I took 8 kids here today. It's a beautiful space & accommodated our group very easily. Shift manager Daniel and the entire staff made us feel so welcome. Service was fast & the food was delicious. Looking forward to coming back soon.“
“This is now my favorite coffee shop. First of all, the music!- I was jamming the whole time. Gave me main character vibes sitting a cute coffee shop, with my matcha latte, lip singing. Lol. ALL the staff I encountered was so so nice. The lady that took my order was super nice and honestly made me feel like I knew her and was a regular. She also remembered my name a couple hours later when she was cleaning up the tables and asked if I was doing okay- by name! Oh, the foccacia with tomatoes was amazing as well. I mean, just go check it out. Love it.“
“I needed to customize a birthday cake for my friend and came across this bakery on Instagram. So far I've tried the pulled pork ube cake and matcha crepe. The cake tastes delicious, light and puffy. The crepe, on the other hand, needs a bit sweeter for my taste. They serve coffee/tea in vintage sets that elaborates your experience here. A nice cozy place for an afternoon tea.“
“Chose this coffee spot as a place to chill before our flight out of houston. Floored on the food - the Chinese sausage tacos were amazing. The tortillas were just right, good portions, right amount of heat, sweet, and texture. Best breakfast taco I've ever had. Wish i had more time in Houston to try their whole menu! Cold brews were good as well!“
“This is such a nice deli! The service is excellent and the to go packing felt so premium. The chicken salad on a croissant was fantastic and paired well with the potato salad. The double chocolate cookie with caramel chips was one of the best cookies I've ever had! They also have a large selection of beer and wine and the decor is very nice and tasteful. Highly recommend!“
“Love this place so far. I've only been a few times but hoping to make it a regular spot. It does get pretty crowded though, especially for Magic events, but they have a calendar that kinda helps you avoid the bigger events. A bit cramped but only because they try to maximize the tables available and very very friendly/accepting.Parking: Their parking area is very limited and people tend to just find spots on the side streets. The area is getting... revamped, so hopefully the street parking stays free or they're able to buy more space.“
“Came here a while back with a friend, and we had a great time! The vibe here is super chill, and it seems like a nice place to study or just hang out. I ordered the taro milk tea, and we also split the cookie butter toast. Both were tasty! We would definitely come back.“
“Hands-down, my favorite coffee shop in Houston. All of the baristas are literally so sweet and care so much about you having a perfect experience. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and we were easily able to find a seat—which I’ve never experienced at any other Houston coffee shop but they literally have so much space and seating it’s lovely. I had both the Pistachio Matcha Latte and Nutella Crepe and both were phenomenal. Will absolutely be returning.“
“Cafetopia is always my FIRST stop for desserts in Houston! I have a sweet tooth but prefers desserts not overly sugary, Cafetopia is just PERFECT for me.Their crepe cakes are definitely standout – just the right balance of sweetness, with a fine, delicate taste. I do think it is better than the big-name brand. And don't even get me started on their cheesecake! It's an absolute delight, with a refreshing cheesy flavor and a perfectly crunchy texture! And most importantly, the reason keeps me being a loyal fan of their cakes is their high-quality ingredients, you can taste the difference in every bite!Definitely worth to give it a try if you appreciate top-notch desserts!“
“Fantastikós! A gem! Super friendly and we loved everything we ordered this first visit. You can tell there is love put into this food! We ate at the restaurant and ordered: Spana omelet (listed under brunch but we had it for dinner) with greens, meat mezze, gigantes, moussaka, lamb wrap with lemon potatoes, spanakopita, mint lemonade and white wine that I can't find on online menus. Plates are great for sharing. The menu there is more extensive than menu I've seen online. Our entire party loved everything (save our picky eater who tried and ate much more than she does at any other restaurant!) The atmosphere is clean, cozy, intimate and warm. I foresee this becoming a family favorite.“
“This place is adorable, perfect for brunch or to meet up with friends and just mingle, it has a nice selection of plants and the drinks are on point. I tried the veggie burger ? it was a total mouth orgasm.Parking: Parking is limited, and you may have to park somewhere else and walk to location.“
“It’s one of my favorite places to eat in Houston !! The matcha actually taste like matcha and it’s so yummy, I’m obsess with their delicious pastry’s ! The place is really cute and the food is so good ! The one bad thing, I frequently go and love to take pictures and posted them on social media, but their is a girl that works their I don’t know her name buts she is always so rude and bitter makes me uncomfortable whenever I see her working their, I always try to be nice and polite but she gives such a a negative attitude. Last time I went she ask me why I was taking pictures and look at me in a really ugly way I was just taking pictures of the food and the place. Anyways all the other staff is a always really nice and polite. Don’t know her name just she was short black hair. Hope her attitude changes one day ❣️“
“2nd cup is right alright, you can't drink just 1 latte.... the secret squirrel latte is my heaven in a cup here. Im not too keen on the name (in a bronx accent). "Come on! i got grey hair here for crying out loud!" Ok ok I will swallow my pride and mumble "let me have the secret squirrel latte please" thank you Melissa bring your own cup and save the planet.“
“Visiting from out of town and wasn’t sure what to expect but wow was I surprised!I stopped in and ordered the cookie stuffed croissant as a breakfast treat (to go) and this was one of the most decadent and delicious pastries I’ve ever eaten!!Due to how good the croissant was, I returned for dinner and our server was great with recommending a drink (Hanoi Hi Five) which was an explosive of flavors in every sip.As for the food: I had the burger with seasoned fries that I could not stop eating - sooo good! My dinner companion had the fried rice and really enjoyed it noting it was as spicier than expected but in a good way.The highlight (no pun intended) was the service. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Can’t wait to return.“
“No question why this place gets non stop 5 star reviews! The food is AMAZING. Very fresh ingredients, homemade recipes, very reasonable pricing, and they have delivery partners! Super yummy! 10/10 recommend this place! P.S. this is an unsolicited review... Just had to hype up the variety and service.“
“Cool cafe tucked away on busy Bissonnet street, stopped by here while stuck on traffic on the way home and was surprised to have such a cozy and nice cafe to hang out. The cafe is extremely clean and well kept and the service was top notch with our server being very attentive and quick. The food had great taste and the coffee was excellent and hit the spot. Don’t go in here though expecting a more casual coffee shop style place because it’s more of a “dine-in” kind of cafe, they do however have a full assortment of coffee, lattes and cappuccinos however. Would recommend this place to have a date though as the ambience of the place is great and inviting while being classy at the same timeParking: Free parking but limited amount of spots“
“We had a convention in downtown Houston, and a few of us decided to go check out some local retailers and stopped in and had lunch at Barnaby's. It was such a beautiful day that we sat outside and enjoyed the day. The turkey sandwich was bomb with cranberry sauce. The pickels were also in point.“
“it was a wonderful experience, Xoxhilth, was wonderful, very attentive, and kind, I hope that she will be available to help me when ever I go to cafe express, please give her a bonus because she deserves that and more.Avita Sonia FlournoyParking: you need more handicap parking, and the parking that is air-marked for the to-go orders are always taken by the customers front the restaurant next door. that should not be happening, you need to advocate for your customers“
“I am so glad I finally stopped in. The beef bulgogi was yummy! As a picky eater I was happy there wasn't alot of veggies that I had to pick out. The glass noodles were also very flavorful. I was greeted with a smile & my food was ready quick. I will definitely be back.“
“I have a nutrition certification and this place passes all of my tests for good quality food. I got decaf coffee and the eggless pancakes. Great! You must try it. They make all of their food from scratch and make a lot of homemade sauces. So worth going!“
“This is a great local cafe in the area! There is plenty of seating and I love the vibes here. There are a lot of windows, so this cafe gets plenty of natural lighting. There's also outdoor seating too if the weather is nice enough outside to sit out there and enjoy it. There is also plenty of parking since the parking lot is big in this plaza. I have honestly not tried any of the bakery or food items here yet. I've only tried the vanilla latte (hot) and morning matcha latte (iced). Both drinks are delicious. The morning matcha latte typically comes with oat milk (unless you ask otherwise), and I felt like it made it taste really good. It wasn't overly sweet, but was sweet just enough for me. I liked how clean, modern, and spacious the cafe is. I will definitely be back to try out the food items some time!“
“This was our first time dining here. I am sad that we have not been enjoying this place for years! We started with the escargot and charcuterie board. Excellent. The escargot was exactly the same that we eat in France. We had the trout dish and snapper which were cooked perfectly. I can't wait to return and try more dishes.“
“Staff is Fabulous and Excellent Customer Service. Restaurant is clean and service is above. My little Jewels love coming here often.Parking: Parking would be awesome if Sweet Paris has own marked spotsKid-friendliness: Super great atmosphere for my little ones.“
“Ordering my food to go and dining inside is always a pleasing experience. The crepes are great, the drinks refreshing, and the staff friendly.Parking: The parking next to the restaurant is limited and the parking in the other shopping centers can sometimes be crowded. The time that you arrive determines how easy or hard it is for you to find parking.“
“Hidden gem in downtown. The service is amazing, they really cater to the clientele. The wifi is really fast and never goes down, so you can bring your work, order some food and enjoy a drink (Great place for meetings - music isn't too lound). Also its very clean, you can tell by the bathrooms that are spot on, and because its at the park there is often friendly security and casual dog-walkers wondering the park so you feel safe and it makes for a comfortable atmosphere. You do have to be careful about downtown parking signs so not to get a ticket.Parking: Street parking is available, must read signs.“
“I have been here a couple of times and I think their coffee is delicious. I think it is also kind of out of my price range, but it is some of my favorite coffee even though I don’t really drink coffee. I also have a T-shirt of this coffee shop because that is how much I love it. My partner gave it to me thankfully, and I love him. As always, much love from Houston and the universe.Parking: its a small lotKid-friendliness: good for family“
“My FAVORITE coffee shop, hands down!Love that it has ample parking, indoor seating, a conference room you can rent, and a drive-thru! Felix is sunshine in human form and always brings a smile to my face!! Can’t say enough great things about this place.“
“Nice and peaceful cafe to come to while trying to escape the house. Friendly staff, good food and drinks. Inside seems small but you still get your space. Sitting outdoors if the weather permits is the move though. Tried the Buffalo Chicken pizza and it was tasty. The Milky Way and Sugar Daddy were both good drinks. Outdoor seating is pet friendly as well (at least, it seems like it was.) Overall, nice Houston Cafe.“
“At Coco Crepes and Coffee, the experience is delightful from start to finish. Their crepes are a work of art, with a perfect balance of texture and flavor that leaves you craving more. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, there's a crepe to suit every palate. And let's not forget about their coffee – smooth, rich, and expertly brewed to perfection. It's the ideal companion to their delectable crepes, adding an extra layer of indulgence to every bite. With friendly service and a cozy ambiance, Coco Crepes and Coffee is the perfect spot to start your day or enjoy a relaxing afternoon treat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is available“
“This place is located in a shady area and we were a bit skeptical going in but it’s so nice inside. Looks like a converted warehouse. We ordered vanilla latte on the recommendation of the cashier and it was delicious. I had the classic with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and sourdough toast. The eggs were creamy and lightly seasoned the presentation was neat and clean. My husband had the croissant with eggs and that was delicious too. We also got almond croissant and crème brûlée cheese cake. Everything was delicious and the bill was around $45. Which I thought was very reasonable. Loved it, recommend it and would love to come back.“
“I recently had the pleasure of brunching at Bluestone Lane with friends, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the warm welcome we received from the staff to the inviting ambiance, every detail contributed to a memorable outing. The vanilla latte I ordered was hands down the best I've ever had, and paired perfectly with the avocado smash toast and bacon. I can't wait to return for another round of exceptional food and ambiance. Highly recommended!“
“Million Dollar bloody Mary is bland and tasted like it was only bloody mary mix. When I asked for horseradish to add some spice to it (a basic ingredient of any bloody mary) they brought over a horseradish sauce. The cheesy grits were VERY good though.“
“Hosted an anniversary party for my parents here, and cannot say enough great things about Szilvia and her staff. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We had a mishap with our cake (purchased elsewhere) while driving down and our waitress told us not to worry about it, that she would fix it, and she did! She went way above and beyond. The wine was amazing, and our guests had a wonderful time. Szilvia was very knowledgeable and kind, and we loved learning about the wines from her. She also helped us with a wine gift for my parents with a custom label, and was so communicative with us during the planning process. She even texted me when we were on the way down and asked me to let her know when we were close so she could have our guests hide and surprise my parents. We could not have asked for a better host or venue. Highly recommend Szilvia and Sable Gate!“
“Kid-friendliness: One time I went in, there was a baby walking around....made some noise. No one really seemed to mind, which I really liked. The baby wasn't bothering anyone, was just being a kid. They also allow dogs, and have dog treats to give to the dogs. I thought that was pretty cool! DO NOT bring outside food IN. By the time I was about to be finished with my food, I found out that's fround upon. The drinks are a decent price, still a little on the high end. Desserts too. Also, I'm cheap.........so do with that what you will. ?“
“loved We're-Dough Bakery & Cafe in the Galleria area! It's a great place with a friendly vibe, serving unique Lebanese dishes. The Manoush & Sajj and Lahme bil Ajiin were easy to eat and delicious. Definitely worth a visit for fresh, authentic flavors!“
“Loved the ambience, coffee, chocolate chip cookies and general hospitality ❤️. Was driving through from a conference, stopped by coffee and left feeling refreshed and at peace. The owner was so friendly, welcoming and the music ministered to my soul.“
“Mung bean, half sugar, easy ice, with honey boba was really good! I wish they could go below 50% sugar for those with less of a sweet tooth. I also wish that there’d be a honey-less boba option, aka just plain normal boba. (Vietnamese coffee was also good.) Staff are friendly and service is quick.“
“Absolute best food! Fresh ingredients - the chicken tenders are the best I've ever had. And their gravy and ranch dressing OMG. The service is on point - Cynthia is always so happy to take our order and ask about our family. I hope they never change the ambiance - it feels like going back in time to a true diner. You must come! You'll never stop!“
“This place was recommended by a passenger. Her advice was that their breakfast tacos were bomb, but pricey.. True.. I spent 12$$ for a bacon and egg taco as well as a chirozo and egg taco, plus a Cappuccino. The cappuccino was smaller than expected. The price for the tacos was cool, 3$ each. The Verde sauce was some of the best I've ever ever had.. like top 5!! So I'll be returning. ? Parking: Pay attention to the time if day. This family treasure is located in a very busy spot. Right next to HEB.“
