“My family and I have been here many times over the years, so this review is long overdue. Savannah has so many incredible bakery options. Our favorite is the homemade chocolate chip cookies. They are truly the best in Houston and that's saying a lot (love Paulies cookies too). If they are made the day of the cookies melt in your mouth and they are always very generous with the chocolate chips. We also love the cute decorated cookies and the lemon cake. We've gotten the lemon cake many times for birthdays over the years. Our favorite entrees are the chicken spaghetti and the four cheese panini. On a hot day it's always nice to have a glass of their apricot tea. I highly recommend this lovely little cafe in Clear Lake. :-)“

Most recently I saw her helping some older folks with a service dog who had lost something under their table. The rest of the staff, for the record, always seems to be bustling. Of course, every server we've had has been awesome, but Nicolas set himself on a higher level by his outgoing personality and professionalism. But it was athletic basketball abilities that really wowed the crowd. Yes, I said athletic abilities...So one of the many many kids that were "electronically entertained" (I'm not exaggerating...EVERY kid in that place had a phone or tablet captivating their robotic attention)...one of those kids wasn't paying attention and knocked over a syrup bottle. Nicolas caught that out of the corner of his eye, lept over to that table and snatched it just before hitting the ground and making a massive mess. He did this amazing rolling recovery off the floor, popped up and calmly placed it back on the table like nothing even happened!!!! Funny thing was, all of us that were there, saw it and were amazed..extept for one person...you guess who it was? Yep, the kid memorized by his electronic babysitter!! So sad. I digress. “Me and husband have came here before and always had problems with service. We decided to give it one last chance. While we were here, we sat with the new server named Winderlee she was wonderful. She was very attentive and made us feel welcomed. We didn’t feel rushed to eat at all and she was very polite unlike other servers here before. “The food was absolutely fresh and I greatly enjoyed the salad. Now I have experimented with the different types they have to offer. My over all favorite is the garden salad. I cannot rave enough about their soups also. I love their tomato bisque soup. It's never tasted burnt or watery. Its got a creamy thick texture which I was pleasantly surprised. I also enjoyed it being paired with a bread/roll. I love their coffees as well. The cappuccino is delicious! Thank you for signing me up for rewards. I will redeem my free bread once I'm able to reach it again. I couldn't wait the first time I signed up. Plus I enjoyed the selections I got to choose from. “Today was our 1st visit and we will be back! I was in search of another local coffee shop for me and my oldest child (11) to get a change of scenery for her homeschool time, and my remote job. We live in Friendswood, this was an easy 20 minute drive. Very nice, quaint location in the heart of Pasadena; generous portion sizes on the food offerings. We both had an iced latte and she enjoyed the chocolate chip banana nut muffin - she was impressed it was fresh pieces of banana. The chorizo breakfast taco was so flavorful and well seasoned, we ended up purchasing a 2nd one. The two baristas on staff were kind and helpful and treated my daughter like an adult customer - engaging with her and calling her ma’am. She even wanted to thank them personally before we left for their great customer service. We visited for nearly 2 hours and it was a lovely escape. I know where to go now when we need another midweek change of pace.“
