“Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Chicken chimichanga was delicious and unique. Enchiladas were also amazing. We also enjoyed fajitas, tacos, and chips & white queso. Everything was incredible. Service was also very prompt and good. Great family owned restaurant. Will definitely return when visiting again.“
“Heard about El Jimador in Bellville and stopped in for a Saturday dinner. Nice sized parking lot, but lots of vehicles parked there. The inside is large, plenty of seats available. During our 45 minutes there the place got crowded. Had a ribeye meal that was served on a hot plate and was sizzling on a bed of onions; this meal had a side of guacamole, rice, beans, and sauce. Another meal was enchillada's with rice and beans. Kids meal of quesadilla and rice. Just right portions. Food tasted great. Would go back again.“
“I was freezing in Sealy on a regular Texas February day and stopped in for something to warm me up. You know a good Mexican restaurant if there are Spanish speakers at the tables. There were plenty. I asked for beef soup. They were out - another good sign. Then I went to the menudo. It came out perfect. And I mean perfect. They brought out three corn tortillas, cilantro, onions, fresh jalapeños, and two wedges of lime. More times than not, restaurant menudo tends to over spice. But like I said, this was the best menudo I've had since my grandmother's house. The only thing, if I had to say, was the lack of homeny. I don't like homeny in my menudo, so it was no big loss. Overall, I loved this place. It's a great place to hide out from Cub Scouts Camp for a bit of sanity.“
“I was in town for business. Stopped by and had the sizzling fajitas. They were good. The young man serving was also good. Filled my used tea and always asked if I was doing good. What didn't sit well with me was that as I got up to pay the lady taking my payment didn't even acknowledge me, didn't ask how the food or service was, she just grabbed my credit card, charged it and not even thank me for coming in. So I thought that was odd.“
