“Place is amazing! One of the greatest selection of cigars I've seen in a local cigar shop. Owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. BYOB plus an actual bar you can use to either make your drinks or just borrow a glass. Creekside has an agreement with a few local restaurants that will even deliver your over the phone orders to the lounge so you never have to put out your cigar! Definitely a hidden gem of Belton! I'm a new loyal coustomer!“

“We ordered chilli fried rice with shrimp, pad thai with shrimp, mango sticky rice, thai iced tea. I like the fried rice (not as spicy, but then I added a pinch of chilli flakes - then, it kicked! Real thai! I hope to remove the tomatoes next time). Pad thai was good (fish sauce can be reduced, sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce can be added more). Mango sticky rice, which is seasonal, was fantastic!!! Thai Iced tea was great! Serving food can be made quicker - we waited for 25 min to get two main dishes. But, we were patient :) The waitress is friendly too! ขอบคุณ -- thank you!“

“First of all, we came through and I don’t think they’ve even had power back 48 hours since the tornado.Service was impressive, quick, and polite. Employees were moving quickly and efficiently. The place was super clean, as well, including restrooms. We have a family of 10 so our order is a lot all at once, but everything was correct and fairly quick considering there was a brisk line of people. I did steal a taste of each of my kids choices, and the ube and the avocado were definitely the winners in my opinion.“

“The food was ok. However, what made it pleasantly was the service. Thank you, Matty or Marty. Apologies if I am mispronouncing the name. Steak was perfectly cooked but lacked in taste (which I admit is my personal preference). You probably would find it ok, good, or great even. The fact it was cooked how it was ordered says lots of the Chef. Mashed potatoes have a southern grand Ma taste to it, so good there. Broccoli was tasty (could use less butter, for those of us who are health nuts, pretty sure if I would have asked, they would have accommodated it). But the Chili, whoa nelly ?. First, it is not like the chili most people are used to. In fact, it is more like ground beef with onions and beef. I was waiting for my taco shells or tortillas, lol ?. But, the taste, at least for me, I loved it. My wife, who had not ordered it, ended up getting a cup of it. Is a good restaurant to give yourselves a break, a night in town relaxing and not having to think of cooking.Parking: You have to drive to the parking lot behind the restaurant and you will find plenty. If you stay on top, it could get difficult. So, drive behind and park by the river, and enter through the back or walk up the stairs of the Plaza, and then decide if you want to eat there or any of the other options there.“

“I want to thank Taqueria Mexicano Grill #13 me and my family have been coming to this restaurant since they opened. The Staff is off the charts especially this morning today April 16th, it is my Birthday and they surprised me by singing to me. I appreciate you all so much for always greeting us with a smile. To the owner you have an awesome staff, they are always friendly, courteous, kind, willing to accommodate and believe me some days we are not always pleasant. But by the time we your restaurant we are in a better mood. So thank you all so much for you smiles, your great service and for going that extra mile to smile.“

“Parking lot was full but still got seated quick. The food came out fast and the portions are huge. The breakfast burrito is a bicep. Huge portions for the price and super fast but still made fresh. Plenty of options for even the pickiest eaters. I was shocked at the size of the kids menu when most places treat it like a second thought. Traditional diner food done well.“

“As long as you know what to expect you're fine. Yes the food is very good and plenty of it. The seafood on our fried seafood platter (catfish, shrimp, oysters) was impeccable. Not fried into oblivion and just as importantly not undercooked. It came out piping hot. The fries were cooked through but not browned like they should've been. The garlic mashed potatoes were meh. The cole slaw was warm. It had a nice bright lemony flavor that paired well with the richness of the seafood but should've been cold. The hush puppies are *fabulous*. This is the only place in my 68 years (and my daughter who is 39) that we not only eat them, but would request more if we weren't so full from the abundance of seafood. Will we go back? Yes! We've been here before. When we want seafood, we know we'll get good seafood (and those hushpuppies). We don't go for the sides that come with it but do wish they were better - it was because of the sides that my Food rating is a 4 and not a 5. Now then....what to expect atmosphere-wise: If you go during rush (Friday and Saturday night - which we did) it's going to take a while to get seated (an hour), and a while to get a wait-person and get your food (45 minutes after we sat down at our table). My Service rating of 3 was because of this. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating though - it's just that they're understaffed. Going when it's not peak time may solve that. And (still talking about peak time) it is going to be noisy. Expect to use your lungs conversing with those you're with. So these times are when you want the typical party atmosphere. For a more relaxed (and quiet) time for enjoying the view and having a conversation while you eat, just pick another time. They do have a bar to enjoy alcoholic or non alcoholic concoctions. Along with inside dining, they have a lovely glass-enclosed dining area that provides a panoramic view overlooking the beautiful blue Belton Lake, and also have outside dining on a deck with the same view.“

“What a cute little place!! My husband and I visited here when we had to come to Temple for an appointment. We are both Asian and have severely been missing small Asian businesses while living in CTX. This really hit the spot and it’s in a beautiful location. We both ordered Banh Mi (it was amazing and fresh) but the side soup was our absolute favorite.Parking: Free street spots all around the building, but it would be difficult to park during busy hours.“

“Our family had a wonderful experience at the Barton House for Easter. The food was wonderful, Cooper gave great service and myself being a history buff was in awe of the surroundings. Also the manager was so accommodating happily giving us the history of the home and offering to get our multi generational photo. Would highly recommend, thank you Barton House!“

“Still great value, even with the price increase ($22.95)for the Tuesday evening Prix Fixe menu. However, on our last 2 visits the food has not been up to the standard of prior visits: last time our food was cold and this time it was overdone.“

“Showed up for our date but unfortunately La Riv was damaged by a tornado. We were not able to dine there. I hope they recovery quickly from this adversity. I also admire them giving away all the food in their fridges for free post tornado. I hope to dine there again soon!“

“Me and my mother came here yesterday afternoon and we had a great time. Alotnof that was because of our great server Nicolas he was extremely polite and patient when I took longer than usual to decide on what to order. He recommended something completely new to my taste buds. We both left happy and we will be coming back. Thanks again Nicolas great job!“

“Olive Garden Temple, TX: A Tuscan Escape You Won't RegretLet me preface this by saying I wasn't exactly blown away by the Olive Garden near me. But the Olive Garden in Temple, Texas? That's a completely different story! Here's why this location is a winner:Fresh and Flavorful: This Olive Garden doesn't skimp on quality. The food tasted fresh and flavorful, a night and day difference from my experience back home. It felt like they prepared everything with care, and it showed.Service with a Smile: The staff at the Temple Olive Garden were fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and always there to make sure our experience was enjoyable. They made us feel welcome and valued, a big part of what makes a restaurant great.Clean and Inviting Atmosphere: The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. It had that classic Olive Garden charm, but it felt fresh and well-maintained.Same Delicious Menu, Elevated Experience: Listen, it's Olive Garden. You know the menu, and that's not a bad thing! Sometimes you just crave that creamy Alfredo sauce or a plate of their signature breadsticks. The Temple location delivered on those classic favorites, but with a noticeable step up in quality and overall experience.Temple Bonus: Maybe it's something in the Temple water, but everything just seemed to click at this location. Was it the friendly service? The fresh ingredients? Maybe a combination of both. Whatever it is, it made for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. The Verdict: If you're in Temple and craving some Italian comfort food, look no further than the Olive Garden. It's a clear step above other Olive Garden locations I've been to. Great food, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere – what more could you ask for in a chain restaurant? Just be prepared for those endless breadsticks – they're dangerously delicious!“

“I was a little disappointed today when I picked up my order. I ordered the pick 2. I got the broccoli cheddar soup and the green goddess salad. The green goddess dressing barely wet the salad and my bread was so tiny. I was so sad, it wasn’t enough to eat with my soup. ?“

“Went to see the little shop of horrors shadow cast on a first date and it was awesome. The owner was working the counter and he was hilarious. I love when owners also work in their business, it shows me they care and are passionate about the care we’re shown when we visit. It’s a beautiful theatre and I love the tables in front of every seat. we had a lot of fun. We will definitely be back, especially for Star Wars this summer! “
