“Visited this place on a whim a few weeks ago. The lady that helped was very nice and it didn’t take long to make the lattes I ordered. They were a bit sweet for me but really good. The pastries were amazing! My husband and I had gotten the Mocha Latte and Hazelnut Latte as well as the Blueberry Lemon Duffle and Bread Pudding slice, all very tasty!“

“Walking into this quaint corner bakery felt like I had stepped in a cozy place that happened to make coffee and baked goods. The staff was very friendly and patient. Bonus: they had gluten free options! I got the avocado toast and a cappuccino. The toast was delicious and I liked the spin they put on it. With retired beans and feta cheese, it took on the flair of the San Antonio area. The decor is comprised of old artifacts like a church pew, school desks, cozy chairs for conversation. I will be back on my next trip through here“

“The staff here is so friendly and attentive and the pastries, French-style cafe fare and coffee are a delight! The indoor and outdoor seating provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We’ve made this a must-stop anytime we’re passing through Boerne.“

“As you may know if you follow me, I am always on the hunt for perfect pies. There are the mundane available at the main supermarkets but if you want a gourmet pie, 11" to serve a crowd, it is hard to find in LA. Still, I have a couple of reviews here that show, in a pinch, one can get some decent pies for a hefty price. I stumbled on Tootie Pie through a secondary seller. I took a chance and ordered the Buttermilk Chess and the Whiskey Pecan pies. They came flawlessly packaged for shipping, enveloped in dry ice and deeply cold so I could pop them in the freezer until just before Christmas. I took them out, placed them in the fridge and by the next day, they were perfect, sitting out festively on the table, at room temperature. It is hard, if not impossible, to find any Chess pie in LA, but this one was out of this world delicious. It is creamy, dense enough to give it more body than a cream pie, with a rich, buttery, complex flavor. The Whiskey Pecan was just as good. They were as fresh as if we had just made them ourselves and beautifully crimped around the edges. Everyone was singing their praises. The prices, with shipping and tax are lower than what it costs to go to WeHo or BH and pick up pies, with all the hassles parking. Now I am monitoring all their seasonal offerings. You will not be disappointed -- give them a try.“
