Chicken Restaurants in Brenham

“I was coming back from Houston and was looking for a place to eat, and didn't want to wait another hour until we hit Austin, so this place was definitely a nice find. Seriously, a chicken buffet? How much food could they offer? I laughed at first but when I stopped by, it was a place I needed to try. They have rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, chicken tenders, fried liver, fried catfish, and some spicy chicken. They have a full salad bar. They also have a plethora of side dishes and deserts like mash and gravy, Mac & Cheese, dirty rice, puffy bread rolls, banana pudding, peach cobbler, collard greens, and a bunch of other stuffs. They also have soft serve ice cream. The fried chicken was really good, it reminded me of Jollibee fried chicken, I'm NOT kidding. The chicken tenders reminded me of Popeyes tenders. The rotisserie chicken was good and fall off the bone tender. The fried catfish was a little too fishy for me, but I can see other folks really liked it. There were so many good sides, which help to offset all the chicken one plans to eat :) You get all this food for less than $15, and the chicken is the tasty main attraction, that's a steal in my book! You would pay double for all this at any other Fast Food joint. For value and what you pay, I would definitely recommend coming here if you need a solid meal between Houston & Austin, or just want to give this hidden Gem a try.“

“Only went to the drive-thru but the outside was very clean and pristine. Chicken is phenomenal! Juicy, fresh pieces! Great creamy Mac and cheese! They have delicious boudain rolls (similar to an egg roll) Very affordable special! Definitely going back.“

“Always love eating here. The employees are friendly and are prompt with service (I hope they are paid well, if not they deserve to be!). The food is always hot and fresh, save for a few rare instances something is wrong, which can happen with any restaurant. Overall this is definitely one of my favorite places to have some lunch.“

“Well what do you know! I don't know if it's the case that every church is now but I found out yesterday that this churches had spicy fried chicken and when I look online the spicy chicken does not utilize eggs or milk the two most common food allergens in the United States. So today I gave it a try and oh my! It is way better than Popeyes ever thought about being!! The spicy chicken is spicy out of this world and very good! Now I'm hoping that all churches have the same spicy fried chicken I'll have to check on the one at home because I haven't eaten there in years because I never cared for their regular chicken which actually does contain eggs and milk in the batter both. Way to go churchs!!“
