I like to find hole in the wall places to try when I am roadtripping. Smittys fits the description. I had the brisket and brisket. While not the best I have ever had, it was pretty tasty. What was surprising was how great the sides were - probably the best I have had in a long time. Blackeye pea salad was aweson as were the red beans. After a very underwhelming meal elsewhere, we stumbled into Smittys desperately needing some good food. It was absolutely incredible, probably the best brisket I have ever had. The cobbler was great too, and service was incredible. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be heading back. Cannot recommend enough!
