The menu is amazing and the food is awesome! There were so many things to choose from...on my first visit I tried the sliced brisket and homemade sausage with the homemade hot sauce. Totally blew me away! The brisket was very tender and full of that smoked flavor as well as the sausage and when you add the hot sauce...Omg! On my second visit I tried the chopped beef...same results! I also tried the macaroni salad, potato salad, and collard greens as well as the peach cobbler and they were just as good. The service was awesome and they made recommendations on what to try. I will definitely be going back!

I like to find hole in the wall places to try when I am roadtripping. Smittys fits the description. I had the brisket and brisket. While not the best I have ever had, it was pretty tasty. What was surprising was how great the sides were - probably the best I have had in a long time. Blackeye pea salad was aweson as were the red beans. I was told everything was made from scratch, and it definitely tasted like it. Very friendly people who made me feel very welcome. I look forward to my next visit and try out the sausage :)

I stoped in while in the area after a Google search for bbq. Walked in and the place was very neat clean but could use some updates. Renee greeted me when I came in the door and was very helpful with helping me decide what was the best on the menu. I decided on pork ribs, collard greens and potato salad.. However, I was able to sample the coleslaw which was outstanding. The potato salad was not to my liking but enjoyed everything else..

After a very underwhelming meal elsewhere, we stumbled into Smittys desperately needing some good food. It was absolutely incredible, probably the best brisket I have ever had. The cobbler was great too, and service was incredible. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be heading back. Cannot recommend enough!
