“On a short road trip we chose this as a lunch spot, having never been. We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our visit here.Decor- 10/10. “This is the first time I've been to this location - have experienced Hard Eight in a couple different locations before. The food is always excellent but this one stood out because there was one staff member that went above and beyond with each of us in our group. I'm assuming it was a manager and he was so very kind to our baseball players (we had a team dinner there) and parents !“
“Sat outside for a late lunch on the front patio with no wait, food came hot and fast. I had probably the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had and hubby's shrimp tacos were delicious. Service was amazing, we will definitely be back for dinner one night.“
“This place was great! The staff was amazing and the owner/manager was super helpful since it was my first experience. He recommended the tacos since it would allow me to try several meats, and the tortillas are made from scratch.This was perfect! The steak was my favorite!The success and salsas were also housemade and it was tough to choose, but my favorite was the green Chilli salsa.This is a different concept twist on a BBQ place!I was recommended, and was pleased, you will be too! “This is my 2nd time here this week. I picked up at exactly 9pm. However I specifically asked for peppered sausage and got a normal Echrich sausage. I'm very pregnant and very disappointed. I love the peppered sausage. This is so regular and lack luster. I picked BBQ for a reason. I could have bought this from Walmart. I'm less bothered by the cold food which happens occasionally here. But at least give me the right meat. This order was $73. My last was the same. So I don't feel bad in voicing my issue. I just hate this cannot be resolved tonight.“
“This was our first time and we weren't greeted when we got to the counter. We looked at the menu. The employees just stared at us waiting to order. No hello, no can we help you, nothing. Finally one of the ladies said "I can take your order when you're ready". But nothing more than that. The food was AH-MAZING. The sausage and smoked turkey were great. Will go back but probably just take our food to go. Dine in wasnt much to be desired.“

I recommend to go before 6pm for some reason the meat is not as good as the earlier hours. Good atmosphere to bring the family with bench seating. Just like going to a family bbq. “Be prepared to wait - but it’s definitely worth it. We got there just after 9 am on a Friday and we got our food right at noon, so we spent an hour in line after they technically opened. We ordered basically one of everything off the menu and that was the way to do it. Everything was phenomenal! Truly cannot recommend their ribs enough. They were some of the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. And their sides are great too! I loved the beans and their coleslaw.“
“I have been here twice now and the food and service is so good! We love the pulled pork loco moco style and the firecracker chicken/shrimp. The corn is fantastic and the aloha sauce is really really good. The staff treats you like family and the atmosphere is fantastic, very chill vibe and has a play area for kids. “This was some good BBQ. I had the chopped brisket sandwich and potato salad & both were good. Wife had some sliced brisket and enjoyed that. Another of our party had the sausage and it wasn't that good. Keep in mind bbq taste is mostly a preference and one may like it and another not. I can't comment on the sausage. The peach cobbler was great. We also had the jalapeño poppers which I could have made a meal from...fantastic. I would most definitely try this place again. Heard some foul language coming from the kitchen...don't care for that and makes the place seem a little unprofessional imo.“

“I stopped to take pictures of the old bank down the street and decided to try the BBQ.The brisket sandwich was plentiful! It was pretty good, could have used more bbq sauce and the meat could have been a little juicier, but overall it was pretty good!“
“Not bad for a chain steak house. Bread and butter are great while you wait for your main course. I had the ribeye with mushrooms on top. It was more of medium rare than medium and the mushrooms on top had more flavor than the steak. Nothing was too bad that it needed to be returned. It's a pretty busy place so be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes to be seated if more than 4 in your party.“
“This place has been in burleson for awhile and never disappoints from the Kimchi burritos to the Rice bowls and Boba. Service is always stellar! I’ve notice they are always respectful, attentive and caring. Bathrooms are always clean and the boba never disappoints.Only complaint is that items are a little expensive but that’s inflation I guess“
