“Very nice staff! Our server was very attentative and knowledgeable of the menu. She gave us good suggestions to try. The steak was good, loaded mashed potatoes were a little too peppery for my taste and green beans were very favorable. My husband got the fried shrimp...tarter sauce was not very good but the shrimp were nice and big. Would definitely eat here again when going through Caldwell. Location is a motel restaurant which surprised us but it was worth it!“
“We loved the interior and exterior of this place, especially being in an old post office on the square. The menu was maybe too efficient, not much to choose, even their wine menu had more options. The person who served our table was silent, and a bit preoccupied with the people at the bar area which I guess were friendsof hers; also, it took more than 40 minutes for food that was subpar, for example the club sandwich said on the menu it has Texas toast, but instead it was Mrs Bairds thin slice bread. The Queso was terrible, with the chips heavily salted. The burger was okay but again too heavy on the salt for the frys. This really could be an awesome place, but it needs an inviting entrance to really illustrate that it's a restaurant and maybe change up the menu ?Hopefully, this wasn't too much to say ? maybe just a bad night... “This is the second time I have visited and as soon as I thought of it I knew I was stopping in. The restaurant is attached to the gas station, and the last time I came I was the only one there. The staff was great though and thanked me very warmly for stopping in as I was leaving. This time, there were different employees but they were all very friendly. They greeted several others that came in by name and everything was very cordial. The menu is basically burgers but they offer tots which is immediately my go to option. Onion rings are available for an up charge, I might have to try them one of these days. The space is pretty basic with wood tables and metal cushioned chairs. Nothing flashy going on here. The food is set up to be the star. The burgers I got were big, fresh veggies and tasted great. I am pretty sure I got the bacon cheeseburger both times. This time the tater tots were on the crispy side, which I don't ask for but I definitely love so, yay! And there are a lot of tots on this plate. I will be sure to stop in again when I venture through town again. They offer breakfast so maybe I'll stop going East instead of on my return West.“
“Okay this place shocked us. I was a little hesitant to walk though the privacy fence gate and in to someone's backyard but it was a clean, cute beer garden that serves up some delicious food! We ordered the stacked burger and the Oregon trail burger (I didn't want a bun) with sweet potato fries. The flavor profile was on POINT! Burgers were overcooked by about 30 seconds but could look past that because wow the flavor! You need to stop in here, it's great!“
