“Came here on Valentine's Day after a being ignored at another place and so happy we did. We were promptly greeted and ordered some drinks. They have a full bar but we chose some beers. We then ordered chips & queso, fried okra, and 20 piece bone in. It was all delicious but I have to give a special shout out to that okra! The breading was very flavorful and the okra still had a nice crunch to it! Seriously some of the best I have ever had. I would return for that alone, but luckily the rest of the food was really good also! The bartender was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Thanks for saving our Valentine's Day!“

“You'd never think this place is as great as it is, it's very humble but this is some of the best food I've had since moving to Austin. The fried chicken is crisp but not oily, and they have some home-meal-style sides. The Tex Mex side of the menu is a sleeper hit - try the mole sauce with the chicken enchiladas, it's an incredible experience of sweet and savory and spiced-not-spicy. The fish tacos are also solid.“
