“We stopped by pulling a trailer home after a piggy show. Food was delicious, I got the gyro and even for my picky chicky tender eater! Call it an absolute WIN! Great customer service ??? ?”
“Awesome Mead here. The food is great also. We try to stop all the time. The Cranberry Orange is the best!!! They also have great respect for Veterans and First Responders.”
“A 15 year-old recommended it to me. Said they use brisket in their dishes. I'm five times his age. What does a 15 year-old know? Evidently a lot! The place doesn't look like a lot from the outside. Frankly it's pretty plain on the inside. Guess they saved all their explosives to invest in a good meal at a decent price. Oh, I had enchiladas... with Mexican brisket. I'll be back!”
“Honestly, the food presentation is not appetizing. My lasagna and my friend's salmon salad were mediocre in taste. We liked the festive atmosphere and the thought of people in Canyon having an enjoyable evening out. The restaurant is a nice thing for Canyon. Perhaps you could seek guidance from other quality chefs and restaurants as this is an important establishment in Canyon.”
“Always great service no matter how busy they get. Only issue i have ever had is with parking. That alone tells you how good this place is. The food is fresh, delicious, never had a bad meal. This is the place that turned my oldest daughter into chips n salsa eater. Before Pepito's, she was into ketchup n spicy things but poopoo'd any salsa. Now i have to get 2 large orders to bring home at least once a month. Highly recommend you go eat here or get am order to go. You won't be disappointed. Also, the green sauce made me cry but i endured it because it was so yummy. The waiter offered to replace dish several times due to my tears.”
“Old school soda shop setup. '70s and '80s lunch boxes and nostalgia all around! Really a cool setup. We thought we were going to walk in at 6:00 p.m. Well, as it turned out, none of us remembered the time change from Mountain Time BACK to Central Time (?). So we walked in at 7:00 hoping the place wasn't dead. There were probably still three or four groups eating dinner and enjoying dessert. So we didn't feel so bad... Although we did end up closing the place down. My daughter wanted a soft pretzel and had been talking about it for about 2 days. Well, this place has them, and they are pretty darn soft, good, salty, and delicious! I had the Alejandro sandwich at the recommendation of our server. Other people in our party ordered a burger and a salad, both delicious. Even though the food was good, the desserts are even better. Old school strawberry shake (they bring whatever did not fit in the milkshake glass still in the metal shaker ✊♥️?). Old school vanilla sundae also served in a sundae glass. Classic banana split in a banana split glass boat. Ice cream appears to be homemade or locally sourced, and delicious!! My 9-year-old got a cherry slush puppy (which I really had no idea about but she knew... Of course. ?). We came, saw, and did just about as much damage as we possibly could. If this place was around the corner, we would be in some serious trouble! If you plan to stop at the county courthouse for whatever reason, this needs to be the next stop before leaving!Parking: This location is on the west side of the courthouse Square. Parking is abundant.Kid-friendliness: This is a kid's dream. There is sugar in just about every form and fashion.”
“I love this place! The burgers here are very delicious and especially the cherry Limeade's! The decor and vibe is also relaxed and cool! However the reason it's not four stars is the location is behind the united and can be kinda hard to find. The older gentleman that checks out customers is very sweet too!”
“Traveling across the country from New York. Stopped next door to do laundry and had lunch at this burger place. Super friendly staff, quick service and delicious food. The burger topping bar was a bonus. Be sure to get the hand battered onion rings, you won’t regret it.”
“Our family loves Thai food. We didnt see this restaurant listed on google when I searched for Thai food. We went to another restaurant listed and left because the business hours listed online were wrong but luckily a very kind woman waiting on a take out order at that restaurant suggested we go to The King and I because they are open a bit later. I am so glad she did. The food was phenomenal. The service and the staff were exceptional and so warm and welcoming. We had a sampler appetizer, 2 sushi rolls, i had a bowl of phò, my husband had a fried rice entree, my kids had teriaki chicken, pad thai and pad mee. The menu is gigantic. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The prices were so reasonable too. I couldnt believe how much food we got for around $110. Definitely impressed. We will be returning! It was not very busy when we went, it was around 8pm though so i could understand, but i would really love if more people could support this business and keep it here forever! Very blessed to have this restaurant so close to home!Kid-friendliness: Kid menu had great options, the teriyaki chicken is grilled and comes with fried rice, spring roll and steam broccoli. A plate full. More than plenty for a child.”
“Spend about $7 for a middle size bubble tea at Bubble Bar. If you purchase with coupons, you got a dollar off. The staff were nice at Bubble bar, and the place is modern and clean. The atmosphere is comfortable with a great view seeing outside traffic. The location is great, too. Also, a decent restaurant (buff's) nextdoor. Anyway it is a nice place to visit for leisure hours. After all , I give Bubble Bar thumbs for their services.”
“We ate breakfast here when we were in town. I give the veggie omelette five stars. The pancakes, four and a half stars. The French toast a solid four stars, with two stars on the strawberries. I think it should be mentioned that the strawberry option is not fresh strawberries but instead is strawberry preserves out of a can. That was a bit of a bummer. One thing I can definitely say is that we saw the Canyon PD leaving the place as we were pulling up, so you know it's got to be solid, and definitely is. If the police eat here, it's gotta be good ?. When we come back, this will be the spot for either breakfast lunch or dinner.Vegetarian options: We were only here for breakfast, and they have enough vegetarian options. We are not vegetarian by choice, but it was a Friday during Lent ?”
“Bar Z Winery is also a Harvest Host. They allow RV'ers to spend the night if they cover into the winery and taste and purchase. That is a fantastic way to travel across the country. Loved their wines”
“I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese, all the did was lay the eggs on the grill then fold them into a square then lay a piece of cheese on top, so not what I meant.”
“I've been going to this place since 2015. Amazing food, owners, and oh did I say food. Haha ? My brother went there so much they have a dish after him. Thank you all for what being here and bringing your food to Canyon.Parking: Small parking lot but plenty of street area.Kid-friendliness: They love kiddos”
“A must stop when you are in Canyon. Great service! Food is really good. Plenty of choices. Try the chicken fried steak or the beef tips. Both were fantastic! Prices are very reasonable.”
