Worst duck over rice I have ever had... Not worth it at all.

They make authentic Cantonese bbq, just not very good at it.

Best Chinese takeout place around. I always get the chicken with mixed vegetables, pork tofu hot pot, and duck lo mein.

My mother tried the place out and got a noodle dish. The food was very mediocre, as you’ll see in the other reviews, but the real problem is that there was a live baby roach inside the container on the food the dish was served in. That means that they are given birth in the ingredients so that’s pretty bad. The baby roach ruined the experience and it definitely isn’t worth it for some mid tier food. Save your money and time, k town is five minutes away.

I haven't eaten in all of the Chinese restaurants in the DFW area, so I can't say this is the worst Chinese restaurant in the area, all I can say is that it's hard for me to imagine any place still in business being worse. My first clue when walking in the place was that there were no customers even though I was there at about 6pm when a good restaurant would generally be busy. My second clue was the place was filthy. Even just sitting in the booth, I felt like I needed to run to Home Depot to get paint to freshen up the walls, as well as a strong cleaner for the floors. Along the same lines, the restroom desperately needs the application of some serious elbow grease (...making me wonder about the kitchen!). The food itself was horrible. I feel well capable of judging the quality of Chinese food since I lived in China for about 5 years. This place is a mess.

The food was great, the service was even better, fast and efficient, your food arrives rather quickly and you can see the love put into the platting and cooking.

For the last several years, I have ordered at this place multiple times and they mess up about 1/3 of the times I've ordered from them. Regarding the food quality, there's good and bad. We'll start with the bad first: they are SOOO inconsistent and make multiple mistakes and only a handful of their dishes are up to the quality of other authentic chinese restaurants in the area. Their canh chua is not good at all so when I ordered it, I threw most of it away. Their banh bot chien is not as good as most other places in the area. Their beef flat noodle is tasteless and their beef is chewy. Their duck is meaty but tastes chewy and old the last time I ordered it but it used to be good but that was a while ago. Their bbq pork was like a chewy tendon and not on par with first chinese bbq or other chinese bbq places. Their wonton soup broth is too salty and the wontons aren't good but nowhere beats wonton soup at first chinese. They add mystery pork meat to items in the vegetables section without it being in the menu description and it makes it taste horrible. Do they know how to add flavor to sauce without adding pork to a dish? Their pan fried crispy noodles sauce isn't good either. Dong hai has the best pan fried crispy noodle in the dfw area but first chinese and js Chen have better versions. Their version of bbq pork or beef lomein/soft noodles is mediocre at best...so much better at lucky city and first chinese bbq. I've tried their salt and pepper seafood and shrimp and it's definitely lacking compared to other authentic chinese restaurants I've had it at. In fact, my salt and pepper shrimp I make at home tastes better. On to the good but it's not that much to be honest. Their cheese shrimp is tasty and their roasted pork is consistently good. Their seafood flat noodle is pretty good but not amazing. Their crab corn soup is on par with the other restaurants in the area but unfortunately their crab meat asparagus soup has a weird taste. I would say try it at your own risk but hopefully you get what you order and they don't add mystery pork meat to your vegetables (that was under the vegetable section on the menu).

Left before I could order. I walked into the bathroom to wash my hands and it smelled like old urine. The restaurant was not clean at all. To be fair I never tried the food, i was so discussed by how dirty the place eas.

Lady in the front was rude and act like she didn’t want to answer any questions about the menu. Would not recommend this location

Like the others said the portions for the bbq is just way too less, the quality of the bbq is just so so. Service seems to be quick for togo orders but a bit slow for dine in.

HONEST REVIEW!!! So I live near this place and I honestly feel like I get more food at a Panda Express, my boyfriend ordered the chicken and duck and they basically gave us cold old duck and chicken with huge bones in it on a king size bed full of rice! I've never ever wanted to review a place but we debated on it so many times we just had to try it out. I ordered the Mongolian beef and it was basically a dime size serving of beef! Everything else was just onions and scallions and dried peppers. It was way too expensive for me to hungry not even 20 minutes after eating. Not only that the place is deserted you never see anyone actually dinning inside of this place it gives old retirement home the moment you walk in! Save your money and time and find another place to enjoy some Chinese food.

It's tasty. My husband and I like it. Waiter is pleasant and accommodating. Wonton soup is very good. Chicken with black bean sauce need more black beans though, the aroma kind of weak, but the taste is good. Eggplants with beef is good as well.

Crispy pork noodles and combo fried rice are just some of the awesome dishes served.

Real authentic Chinese restaurant in Dallas. The owner is also the Chef at 5 stars hotel in Saigon Vietnam. I just love the food he made. Especially Cantonese cuisine : Roasted Duck same as Beijing Duck in high class restaurants or Char-siu pork (BBQ pork) or Wonton are all delicious… And must try some Vietnamese foods too. Prices are affordable.
