Had the chipotle steak and eggs.The steak wasn't steak at all, it was some nasty ground beef cooked in chunks.The eggs were avergae but they soaked them in the juice that the steak and veggies were cooked in and that was gross.The veggies weren't sauted at all nor were they grilled and they barely even tasted like the anyhing. If you closed your eyes you wouldn'thave known they were peppers or onions; they tasted like someone opened a bag of 1 year frozen veggies that had lost all their taste and nutrient profile and heated them up.The only saving grace were the sweet potato fries which I didn't even order lol. I ordered the fried sweet potatos (another menu item) and was given the fries. The fries were 4/5 for sweet potato fries - everything else was bad.

Was sadly very disappointed. Have loved Cafe Brazil for years, but my most recent visit to this location was not great. Service was lacking, 1 order was wrong, the other disappointed, not sure if they have always made "miggas" as just a scramble with tortilla strip thrown on top but... that's not Miggas ?. Coffee bar hadn't been refreshed so it was getting cold and out of cream. This is the first time I have been to that location late night, had a very different experience in the morning. So probably a staff issue.

The food was awesome! I did the building your own creepe so mine was a masterpiece! However, the flavor was fantastic. Great vibe, great art work from local artists. The only downside was they were super busy so service was a little slow.

I've LONG loved Café Brazil & have been to several locations (never disappointed)... but the Carrollton location is near & dear to my heart for personal reasons. Our server ROCKED; we were sat next to a lovely couple & their son... the foooooooood! Omg- the Banana Bread French Toast gives me LIFE! Drank way too much coffee- because as always- it was perfect and I had to try the whole bar!

My kids (16, 14, 12) and I eat here fairly regularly. They typically only have 1 server on the weeknights, but it's rarely an issue. Unfortunately not tonight. When we arrived, there was 1 other family already there and already eating. The waitress came to take our drink order, and only listened to mine and then walked away, bringing everyone the drink I requested. Three of her friends showed up and they chit chatted by the coffee for a while. After about 10 min, she finally came to take our order. After about another 10 min, a couple walked in and their order was taken in a reasonable amount of time. They received their food promptly. The other table ordered dessert and received it. 45 minutes had passed and our food had still not arrived. The waitress didn't once come to check on us, refill drinks, etc. She just hung around the counter twirling her hair. Every time she came out, she didn't even look in our direction for me to get her attention. So I went to the counter to ask her for an update on our food. She twirled her hair and shrugged her shoulders. After another several minutes, the manager comes out and gives me some excuse about their computer not working (but it worked for everyone else), and told me I could leave or he could make us food. I told him we would just wait for the food since it shouldn't take that much time for pancakes to come out. Another 10ish minutes later and they brought food, not what we ordered, scrambled eggs were runny and had shells in them, other things were over cooked or just not at all what was ordered. What really gets me, though, is that the manager verbally apologized, but his attitude was the complete opposite and acted like I was in the wrong for asking about our food. We arrived at 5:45 and didn't receive food until about 7pm. There were only 2 other tables.
Busy, but quiet enough for meeting up and chatting. Good food!

THE WAITRESS NAMED ADDISON AT THE CARROLTON LOCATION IS A THIEF!!!if I could give this location a 0/5 stars I would! My friend and I were the ONLY customers in the restaurant. From the very start of serving my friend and I, she checked on us once and that was only because one of the few times she wasn’t on her phone on the front, or constantly walking to the very back to where we couldn’t see her at all, we finally had a chance to call her and wave her down for a refill and for our checks. The total time of us being there was AN HOUR because of us having to wait for her to come check on us to get our bill. We asked for refills on our waters and she left them on a counter by the soda machine and forgot about them. She looked annoyed the entire time we were there. We only tipped her $1 each because of the terrible service (even though we shouldn’t have tipped her anything with the lack of service she provided). I get my bill on my bank statement and my total bill signed from be receipt that said $21 went to $23 on my bank account statement. Meaning SHE STOLE MONEY FROM ME. She took $1 more from my friends bill as well. Thankfully I still have my original receipt because they are NOT getting away with this!

We were immediately seated. The food was good, issues started with the cook time. It was a 20 minute wait for food. Numerous tables were leaving the restaurant and were not ordering therfore potentially backing up the kitchen.The server seemed nice, not once did she update us on how come our food was taking so long. I had to flag her down and ask her, she immediately went to the kitchen and came back with our food.Even with a less then stellar first visit, I'll visit a different location for a second chance, the food is definitely worth another shot.

Glad we tried this place! Food was delicious. Server was efficient and friendly. Kitchen was on the slow side but the food was so good and flavorful. Chicken fried steak did not look good but it was very good! Menu has lots of variety, we'll be back to try more.
