“Blanca was extremely helpful & she offered us samples of the chicken because it was our first time. My favorites were the Honolulu & Molokai but my boyfriend preferred the spicy Kilauea. The soft serve was good too I got a twist with Pineapple/Raspberry. Overall the plates were very filling 10/10. The atmosphere was nice as well very relaxing & clean & I enjoyed the soft music.“
“My husband went for the first time in person a few days ago but he enjoyed his experience! His server, Christina, made it clear what options there were and the differences between each sizes in the chicken dishes. We’ve had the Huli Huli chicken which is always great, but this time he had the large Kilauea chicken dish. It was supposed to be their spicier dish but didn’t have much of a kick to it. Also, he got the large thinking it would be more chicken but it was really only more portions for the size. Shrinkflation hits all.Either way, Christina was a great server, attentive and responsive and helped out with any questions he had. It’s a clean restaurant and they have kiosks to order on your own. “This was my first time trying Hawaii Bros. The young lady that helped me was sweet, patient and provided excellent customer service. She provided us with suggestions and allowed us to sample them before purchase. As we waited she offered us samples of the soft serve flavors and they were amazing. We came back the very next day so my other daughter could order(the food was great btw) This time a young man helped us and he was wonderful as well, allowing my daughter to sample items. The building was clean and well kept. I highly recommend this location(Greenville). We will be back.#regulars. “Where to begin. Everything is oh-so-good. Fish is always fresh! They have Poke and Grill Bowls with lots of toppings and sauces to choose from. Unique side dishes and yummy drinks. Ah and dessert for the sweet tooth. Price is reasonable and the portions are fair. The staff is always friendly. Give them a try! Been coming here for several years and it’s one of those places I was glad survived Covid.“
“teriyaki chicken is my go to dish from a lot of places we go and without question, Shaka Hawaiian is hands-down the very best! I drive 15 minutes for takeout on a regular basis.I always only get the teriyaki chicken however, my son loves their fried fish and shrimp. We have eaten here at least a dozen times and each time is consistently exemplary.The customer service is also impeccable . always friendly, always very fast and always delicious! “Y’all this place is a SPOT. I believe it was the owner of the company himself making our bowls and he said some people would say this place was better than Hawaii and we were like whaaat no way. But very quickly into our first bite we learned he was not kidding. We had our ratatouille pen drop moment. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is nice. They give complementary sauces and miso soup. “This store seemed empty when I came in before noon today, but then customers started trickling in after, most were to-go orders.Even though it said Hawaiian barbecue, you could see a few Filipino dishes like tosilog thatI ordered. The fried egg was a bit burnt, but the rice and tocino portion were huge! If you’re hungry, then this portion will definitely make you extra full. And I ordered the regular portion!All in all, the food is alright, just a bit too oily.“
