“The associates here are amazing! Spanish would be a plus but not completely necessary as with some shippers. The back in is incredibly hard at this location. You have to line up to the right for a driverside back-in and shoot the gap between emplotee cars and vans. Will load all hours of the day or night, though.“

“Grabbed 3 regular pretzels and spicy cheese, brown and sweet mustards.Super pleasant staff, and a great value. The sweet mustard is a bit sweeter than a regular honey mustard, and the spicy cheese was awesome. The brown mustard had a nice bite. Pretzels were warm and soft, just a hint of crunch.Excellent snack, and there’s setting right outside the door.“

“I worked at a clothing store near Mr. Pretzels in 2008. I now find myself, 15 years later, still dreaming of my 30 minute breaks where I would get a pretzel and walk around the mall. Mr. Pretzels is the hidden gem of DFW - if you live even remotely nearby, I highly recommend.“

“There is no possible way for me to walk through the mall without drooling and immediately getting in line for pretzels. I always order the original salted pretzel nuggets and cheese, but sometimes I switch it up and get the cinnamon ones. The lemonade is so refreshing too! SO DELICIOUS!!“

Smetzels Pretzel Store •
3801 Irving Mall, Irving

“This is a pretzel based business located inside of the Irving Mall. The serve all kinds of pretzels, as well as smoothies, milk tea and bubble tea! **Average Food Cost(s):$5**Food:Pepperoni Jalapeño Pretzel ($)--Absolutely the best pretzel I've had in Dallas so far. It wasn't burnt and the combination of buttery goodness really delighted my senses.Orange Bubble Tea ($)--This was an orange and tea combo drink with boba. It was surprisingly delicious! Their boba had the right mix of texture.**Seating:There is none solely for the restaurant but there is regular mall seating further into the food court.**Location:Inside the Irving Mall, which is a bit rundown, but it's not dangerous. Plenty of parking.**Service: Great! The cashier was pleasant to interact with.“

“Best pretzels I've ever had. Ever. Amazing. Customer service is not good because it's teenagers who don't care but on the bright side, they're always busy so there's a high chance that your pretzels will be freshly made. The jalapeño cheese dip is delicious with the bites.“

“EDIT: This store has SIGNIFICANTLY, improved! I wanted to edit my review & say, "Thank You," for taking the many complaints, seriously and taking action. One can FEEL, the difference when coming into the store. The HOT food container, is better stocked for expected needs, based off sales history and traffic/time of day.. and the waits.. wait, what wait?! Can't believe I am saying that in such STARK, contrast to before. I hope that this store stays for a very long time and is fruitful. As I mentioned before, I am not the only one with a taste for nostalgia. And am sooo happy to not have to go INTO A MALL, to get my favorite pretzel and to see Jamba, joining forces with a larger entity to save the ORIGINAL, besides maybe Smoothie King.. OG: smoothie place, that my peers and I grew up with in Southlake Town Center. Nostalgia is a serious thing when selling.. and let's just say, It Worked!A+ on the 180 & taking criticism seriously. Because it is NOT easy to hear.**Y’all, seriously..? It’s dinner/rush hour time. I waited over 5 minutes, as the ONLY person in the store just to be “greeted” & have my order taken. I didn’t even receive a, "Hello." The manager here needs to take a lesson from all the other stores that actually acknowledge when clients come in. Say something, ANYTHING! All of the kids who work here with only one adult lady, are all speaking amongst themselves and, Quietly... so low that you can’t hear them. They are not taught to do anything different, obviously. Literally EVERYONE in this area is SoOoO excited for this to be here, please PLZZZZ don’t ruin the experience by having poor training or bad management. The store will shut down if people stop going, and that’s the route this is headed. I’m not mad per say, but I am very disappointed. This is not difficult. This is an entry-level job, and that’s totally fine, Zero judgement! Everyone has to start somewhere. But START, by giving them a lesson in what, "Quality, Customer Service," is.. If for no other reason than to: Better Everyone! Their next step in career/job will Thank You & you'll receive the credit for such doings. THAT'S, how positive reviews work, & setting everyone up for success, means EVERYONE WINS! Do NOT blame the workers, blame is needed from the TOP DOWN in this case. Shoot, call me if you want help. I’ll come in after my normal job or on the weekends and have it running smooth as silk in a weekend. Also, there are WAYY TOO MANY PEOPLE on staff for it to be running this poorly. Either utilize the staff you have or cut that # in HALF &&&& don’t forget training and customer service and you’ve got an ice cubes chance in Hell at making it. If not, might as well pack up now, because this will NOT make it through the summer at this rate. #NeedHelpPackin?!Seriously, I’ll help.“

Auntie Anne's Pretzel Store • $
3651 Irving Mall, Irving

“Auntie Anne's is by all means a mass market fast food pretzel. However, I've always been fond of them, so I could be writing this with somewhat of a bias. I typically get a plain one whenever I'm in an airport that has an active location. With mall culture as it were on the decline, the future of Auntie Anne's is certainly unclear. The Irving mall is no exception with regards to the inevitable and obvious end of the centralized brick and mortar era, with a rather herculean footprint and a clear problem with vacancy. Many AM business meetings will include some sort of sustenance, most typically bagels, donuts, or pastries. I find myself trying to change things up, and a box of Auntie Anne's pretzels are almost always a success. With most participants exclaiming, "Wow, It's been so long since I've had one of these!". While it's certainly a labor of love to fetch a box of them, I've had very good luck utilizing these twisted carbohydrate treats in motivating teams and winning over clients. While the Irving mall is approaching dereliction, I will come here from time to time just for a classic Auntie Anne's pretzel and maybe a highly caloric lemonade, or an entire box to accompany a Power Point.“

“It's a million times better than Auntie Anne's pretzels. A million times a million. The pretzels here are soft and large. So delicious and savory. Auntie Anne's are old and cheap, regardless if you're at Galleria Mall or Stonebriar Mall. Also, Wetzel has much better customer service than AA's. Such nice people here!Wetzel's, you're the dream pretzel. You're five star in every way.“
