“The food here is absolutely amazing and the service is top notch! I'm a sucker for fresh guacamole and this place gives me just that. Who knew something so simple could be so delicious! The drinks are always on point. I hate going somewhere for "drinks" and what I order comes back tasting like juice. Koodos to the bartenders! The shot flights are an absolute must to try. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Perfect spot for a date night or small gathering with family/friends.“

“We had very attentive staff. Our waitress had recommendations for how steaks should best be prepared and checked on us frequently. The staff made sure we had plenty of water, drinks, bread or anything we needed. The food was excellent to the very tasty fried goat cheese, salads, delicious steaks served hot and prepared just right. The side dishes were served family style with the Brussels sprouts and scalloped potatoes both being delicious. It was topped off with a nice dessert of cheesecake as a birthday treat which was more than enough for all of us! Thank you for a delightful evening and meal.“

“I had a superb birthday dinner experience at this elegant restaurant of fine dining. They were so thoughtful and genuine about my special day. I had a birthday card at my table from the restaurant. What a wonderful detail. Our meal was extraordinary with succilent lobster and a juicy steak. Champagne was at the table ordered by my date..Our server was practically at our tables side most of the time dressed in fine dining attire addressing our every need. Best place ever for a beautiful surprise. Friendly staff that go out of their way to assist. I would have to say better than Perry's.“

“Everything was just superb! My mother has been talking about coming here for her 60th birthday for years now and boy did they make our evening special. They accommodated all 16 people we wanted to invite to surprise my mom and made sure we well taken care of. All of the food was beyond delicious. “Having a meal at Perry’s is always a great experience. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gibby. We dined at the restaurant last night and had the 10 ounce fillet, macaroni and cheese, and twice baked whipped potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare and very hot. The macaroni and cheese was great, The twice baked potatoes were melt in your mouth delicious!The service was fantastic. Gibby seemed to appear whenever we needed something, yet he did not hover.There are a number of high-end steakhouses in San Antonio, and Perry’s never disappoints! We definitely will be back.“

“had a decent experience at yard house. our server was kinda passive aggressive and would turn away before i’d finish talking. she was nice but felt like there was tension.the bathrooms are super dark! i’m not sure what that’s about but the stalls you could barely see!the food…honestly for the price we paid, didn’t really live up to my expectations. i got the blue cheese burger cooked medium but there was no pink to it and was pretty dry. there wasn’t much blue cheese on it, and i thought it was gonna be blue cheese and bacon crumbles but the blue cheese was like melted mixed with bacon crumbles.“

“Food and service were both great. Tabatha did a superb job. It was our 55th anniversary and it was acknowledged by a glass of champagne prior to the meal as well as dessert. The manager was very helpful with the eclub activity. Will definitely return in near future“

“Food was phenomenal!! Please be sure to check your receipts if you're paying with a gift card, or multiple cards as in our case. We handed our waitress two gift cards and asked her to process what was on the cards and use our credit card for the difference. Long story short, both cards were not used and the credit card was charged more as a result. The manager was very kind and understanding and made it right by reversing the transaction and started from the beginning.“

“I usually have nothing but good things to say about Saltgrass Steak House but this trip was not that way. Got there with no wait to be seated. Places our order and things seemed to be going well but just like that everything changed. It took quite a long time to get our food and when we did it was luke warm at best. I was changed extra to have 2 sides instead of a side and a salad. No big deal but when my food came out the extra side I order was cold and uneatable. I told this to our waitress when she finally came back and check on us. The butter that was placed on my steak didn't melt at all and my baked potato was the same. After explaining this my waitress said so sorry. But refused to take the 2nd side of my bill or even ask for a manager to come talk to us. Just an overall bad proformance from the team at Saltgrass.“

“First time visiting this establishment. Made reservations online to celebrate a birthday. This location is downtown but in a very good location with a decent view. The food was well worth the cost in steaks and the lobster Mac and cheese. I would only say that we expected slightly better service considering the restaurant wasn't packed. Also we were turned away from the valet even though we had valet parking as part of our reservation. Overall I would recommend giving this place a shot.“

“Saturday was my family and my first visit experience at Barn Door and it was so stellar, that writing this review does not do full justice. From management (Eric) greeting us at the door, all staff making us feel welcome, like family, and most importantly, the food rendering my visiting father speechless. “Little Red Barn is a San Antonio staple! I grew up believing the waitresses were real cowgirls. I was sadly disappointed to find out their horses were no where to be found. Regardless, Little Red Barn has always been the meet and greet for families at dinner time, gatherings, celebrations, etc. You'll always get friendly service, on all my 40 plus years I can never recall a time where any of us were disappointed in service or food. It's a must go if you're a San Antonian, a definite of you're a Texan, and a for sure if you're a tourist.“

Our server Dom did a fantastic job at anticipating any of our needs And providing the experience that people want when they are treating themselves out to dinner. We didn’t even have to ask for anything they were on top of it offering before we needed it.The restaurant was super busy and there was a long wait. However, the service was superior.
