“On a road trip, my daughter and I saw the pizza photos on Maps and had to try. So we drove 20 minutes out of the way for pizza and it was worth it. The crust was crispy, perfectly cooked, good sauce and right amount of cheese. She got the chicken pesto pizza and I got the meat lovers. It's more expensive, but we stop at random places all the time and Sapores Pizza is worth it.“

“Excellent SA TexMex. The Okie is an old favorite, with its huge serving size meal in a generous tortilla with cheese and sauce. Ask for the roasted sauce with your chips and salsa to raise it up a notch. I was impressed with the vegetarian and healthier options (it's been a while since I've been to a Las Palapas). The service was excellent, and the ambiance was casual. We were constantly checked on, which was nicer than expected. Very friendly staff! I recommend trying their lunch specials during the week and coming back during the weekend to explore the menu. There's a little bit for everyone, so it's a nice place for groups.“

I got an enchilada with spinach and sundried tomatoes that was recommended by the server and my husband got the skirt steak, which she also recommended. Both were excellent. The drinks also did not disappoint. I had never had a Mexican martini (I'm a vodka dirty martini gal) and it was very, very good. My husband said their top shelf margarita was the best he's had in a long time. We're visiting from out of state and came here on a whim on a Friday night with no reservation and though it was very busy we only waited about a half an hour for an outdoor patio spot. “Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. “First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! I was really entertained when the domesticated turkey would walk up and gobble at the fence. I have to eat Gluten Free and they were VERY accommodating with regard to making my meal safe for me. “I brought an out of town friend to this establishment right from the airport. It's a charming and culturally beautiful restaurant, adorned with Mexican tiles on the walls and stunning paintings. The service was inviting and welcoming. Our server was a sweet, charming man who was generous with the chips and salsa which were perfection! The chips were thin and crispy and the salsa had a perfect tangy flavor. I ordered tacos al pastor. They were served with house made flour tortillas with were fluffy and delicious. The beef was well seasoned and packed inside the tortilla. The charro beans tasted like my grandma made them. Delicious!! My mango margarita was the perfect addition to this exquisite meal. I'll definitely be returning.“

“We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. Even beer and wine is locally sourced. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE WHEN IN SAN ANTONIO.“
