“Mehn! The young guy that work there is respectful and professional! I usually don’t leave these but I pray for bigger things for this lil food truck. I’m the Caribbean guy that came in the black Honda with red rims lol. I appreciate how they don’t act stingy for the food! Most places charge more and give less!!! Yall food is amazing and comforting! Definitely have to come by next time to just leave a big tip!! Keep it up!“
“This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Austin and probably my first review of a food spot. They are just so good, I felt compelled. In addition to the food being delicious the prices are incredibly inexpensive. $37 for three bahn mi sandwiches, one kimchi fried rice, and a seitan nugget entree is just crazy for Austin. I tipped extra just because I felt like I was stealing. The portion sizes were great as well. This will be my new go to for dinner. Just gotta get there before they close.“
“This place is authentic Ethiopian cuisine. It was fresh and had great flavor. My partner and I both had the Veggie Combo, which was good. The injera was very fresh. Added bonus they have Ethiopian beer and wine! It is attached to a mart, which also sells the Ethiopian beers which was good to know.“
“Come here almost daily when I am in town because it is so good. Best place I’ve found to make a healthy choice over an unhealthy choice for something satisfying and guilt-free. Love the animal-free whey protein in my percolator smoothie. Doesn’t taste chalky or noticeable at all. Great service and atmosphere. Can’t get enough and wish they were also in AZ.“
“The restaurant turned out to be a hidden gem for us. We ordered hakka noodle dosa (with no onions and no garlic), samsoa and Madurai Malai Dosa and all three items were very authentic tasting and delicious. I typically don't like dosas, but I sincerely enjoyed these. The owners and the team were very nice and willing to work with our restrictions even though they were very busy. Additionally, they are able to make most things vegan and/or Jain which is a blessing for us. Definitely a top restaurant on our list to go to and take family and friends now. A genuinely positive experience for us.Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly, Jain friendly“
“Visiting the area and staying at the hotel next door we came here craving a light and tasty meal. Ordered two grain bowls and a hummus platter. Food was delicious - fresh and probably more healthy ingredients than in our last two weeks on the road. Service was outstanding - kudos to Riley, Phoenix, Aaron and Peter for taking care of us. Highly recommended. Thanks guys!“
“Really excellent grilled salmon plate. Very healthy, clean menu. Kombucha selection as well. Mellow vibe, nice surroundings. Spa type muzak on repeat can get tiring after a while, but the outdoor patio is very nice and chill. Order at the counter.“
“Came to Austin for a business trip, on our first night we came in had great service and were well looked after but the guys, came back a few days later and they all remembered us - Jamie was our server both times and she was fantastic never let our drinks get empty“
“Vegetarian options: Large selection available and can make everything less spicyParking: Lots of parking space all around the restaurant at any time of the dayKid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly. Spice levels can be adjustedWheelchair accessibility: Accessible. There are tables that can be accessible for wheelchairs too“
“Love this place! So many options. Always GREAT & Consistent! I have enjoyed 99% of what I’ve tried!Usually Very Friendly quick staff at all locations (especially when it was in the Domain!).Inexpensive relative to the newer place that are popping up everywhere, & the newer family owned aren’t as good ?? & are much more expensive! (Comparing to Tulsi in RR, & one near Flix Brewhouse - can’t remember the name)I also like Tarka’s Mango Lemonade & their Strawberry Lassi every so often.Usually spend ~$5-13 per personParking: Difficult to find this place even with Google & Apple Maps! I got all turned around!I like the Round Roxk TARKA better!“
“Unexpectedly delicious and the service was exceptional.Thank you True Food!I had the Sausage Pizza and my wife had the Tomato Soup. The Pizza was even better dipped in the soup.I'd give it a try and have your mind blown. Extra Delicious!!!Vegetarian options: I'm not Vegetarian but the Dishes were well marked.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free was also well marked and they are super strict about keeping it clean!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy walk in off the sidewalk.“
“Fresh ingredients, great taste. I pretty much get the same salad (no meat, therefore 6 veggies) every time. It is consistently hitting the spotVegetarian options: You can make and salad vegetarian by opting out of meat.Dietary restrictions: Build your own salad let's you pick & choose your toppings. If you are hypersensitive to even gloves touching a food then your bowl, I've heard others tell them such.Best to go at slow times then so they can walk your bowl thru w/o cross contamination.“
