“Great small place to get beer and wine and chat. Don't come here if you are a snowflake or are easily offended. Carol is awesome and keeps the place running top-notch!”
“Bevers Kitchen is a small hometown restaurant you just know is going to be good because it's in an old house. The charm starts there. The staff is friendly and helpful. Homestyle food is amazing and they have several items on the daily lunch special. Oh and the pies are to die for here. We had the Brownie cheesecake and loved it! On busy days there's a short wait to plan extra time in your visitParking: 10-12 spaces in front of the restaurant itself. Most parking is on the street at the church or downtown along the street. It's walkable but gravel on some parts”
“New owner! Place looks amazing. We had a hiccup 2 weeks ago on a Saturday when the waiter refused to come put and wait on us. No one but us in the place. We tried yesterday and to our surprise the owner Rolando was working and single handedly provided services for a very nice size crowd. We will definitely be back.”
“Saved the trip! After a disappointing trip to the “lavender farm” we decided to stop by. The service was exceptional and the wine was great, worth the stop!”
“So good! Their agua frescas are super fresh and yummy, tacos ON POINT. I absolutely love the staff, she is the sweetest lady ever. Y'all need to get on over there and check them out, you will not be disappointed.”
“Surprising to me they had a great restaurant . They don't have many tables so go on a Mon- Thursday and don't forget the sausage especially the jalapeno.Kid-friendliness: Saw fathers and sons eating and laughing together.”
“I often frequent this place during my drive from Austin to Port Arthur for work. The staff is always friendly and fast the manager is usually waking around asking how the food is and I’ve never been disappointed. Their steaks are always cooked the way I order them and the fish has never been dry or overcooked! 9/10 do recommend!”
“Being on a low sodium diet, the protein bowl is a good choice for me. The employee too the time top chop the veggies instead of slicing to make it easier for me to eat. I appreciate the extra time he took.Dietary restrictions: Low sodium choices”
“Luis was being super nice and patient to these 2 women that were being ridiculously rude to him. They said they were going to call him into coorpate. As a personal from the sidelines those women were horrible and Luis did his best and was very nice”
“$1 ice cream scoop is amazing! They also do $1 ice cream sandwhiches. A pretty wide variety of flavors to choose from too. Observation deck was free, and neat to see. Makes a good budget friendly date!”
“The ladies working are always so helpful and courteous. I walk from home every morning to start my day with a cup or two of coffee. The price is very high for drip black coffee. I hope that maybe a drink club or some kind of frequent flyer program will come to this establishment. That’s the ONLY negative I have.”
“Best Authentic Mexican Food in Texas!!! Their menu is simple yet so damn flavorful! We ordered the Chilaquiles with Arrachera Breakfast Plate and the Raízes Classic Breakfast Plate. So much food for such an incredible price coming from someone who is from Miami we're all the food is pretty pricey everywhere you go. The service was lovely the older gentleman was very informative and helpful. The ambiance is very homey home cooked meals. Highly recommend to anyone :)”
“Great little cheese selections for the BYOB. Even better atmosphere. My first time out and after wanting to try this place for a few months, it did not disappoint. Prices were good and not over the top. Good selection or wine and beer as well.”
“I love this bar. Great place to meet friends. They host neat events (chicken shit bingo, anyone?) as well as some phenomenal musicians! Seating inside and out. Rotating taps of really good beers, carefully curated. The food truck in the parking lot is pretty good as well! Or you can bring in takeout from other spots around town. Text your friends. Tell 'em to meet you at HSF.”
“Family went here for my sister's birthday dinner. What a great choice! The service was great and the food was outstanding! 10/10 coming back ?? ( menu is my last pic )”
“Ate at this place today and ordered from a menu with no price listed. I ordered the pastrami sandwich which was decent. However, when I ordered a chicken salad sandwich to go, I was told that they're out of chicken salad @ 11:45a when they just opened for lunch. The place was not crowded so it was quite surprising that they're out of chicken salad. The best part of this dining experience was the house tea. It was smooth & delicious. I bought an ounce for $10 for home brewing.”
“This restaurant is located in an old home. It's a very nice, cozy atmosphere. The service was great and it was a perfect spot for a Friday lunch. The food was ok. Really enjoyed the calamari and the caesar salad. The shrimp linguine and the bolognese were average.”
“We found Wild Flour on a trip on google. The shop looked cute so we stopped in. The store is very clean and smells amazing. We were greeted with a smile and the service was great. Plan on leaving with a few extra treats because everything looks good. We had cookies and a piece of chocolate cake that was big enough for all of us to share and have leftovers. These are by far the best I have purchased. Fantastic. We will be back.”
“This is a lovely wine bar with eclectic, comfortable decor, very friendly staff, and good happy hour prices on a Sunday afternoon. Singer Anastasia provided the live music and her voice is gorgeous! If I lived in Brenham, this would be a go-to place! It's changing owners, and they expect to add food before long. Highly recommend.”
“AMAZING! We stopped in here on the way up from a road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Sandwhiches were delicious, atmosphere amazing, staff wonderful. Making sure to come back and tell people about this hidden treasure!”
“Pizzaiolos is by far the best pizza you will find in Brenham! You can’t go wrong with their Pizzaiolos special along with their buffalo hot wings. You can definitely tell that these are made from scratch ingredients and their premium quality toppings are the perfect compliment to this superb pizza. The wings are actual meaty wings like they should be and their homemade ranch is to die for! The service is always exceptional and I always look forward to seeing those friendly faces that serve this family owned business so well.”
“Food is always good, but need to season patties!! Great prices even with the price increases! Although some things are way too much for portion. Fries/onion rings have been too hard to eat. Shakes are amazing!! Gets busy and only have a small amount of tables.Parking: Parking can be hard. Need more space”
“This is an absolutely underrated, undiscovered place. The food is AMAZING, the service is just as good and the atmosphere is great for families or couples. They had one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. I trusted the server to order seabass and my 7 year old and 4 year old ended up loving it so much THEY ate it!”
“While every establishment is raising prices and serving less and less food- not Santa Fe!! I've been 15 20 times. Food is served hot , delicious and affordable. Hands down the best and friendly service in Washington county. Breakfast is on spot. Lunch ONE of my favorites is fried pork chop on Mondays. Chili cheese burger amazing. You will feel at home and you'll think your Mom is in the kitchen in the best way possible!! Here's to the crew at Santa Fe!!!”
“You MUST try this place !! This is some of the best Mexican food me and my family have had. The salsa is made fresh on the grill. All the meat had great flavor, beans are homemade and the rice. All tortillas were homemade and the owner brought out special chille for us to try and even brought out fresh off the Comal corn tortillas to try. We are saving this place and coming back . Amazing service and even better food !”
“The food was so good and the atmosphere felt really authentic. The service was great too. Our server recommended me this chicken I know I’ll come back to have.”
“This place might be the coolest little bar in Texas. Off the beaten path, you pull up to what feels like an old gas station. Inside, the bar area has retro tables and chairs, old tail ends of classic vehicles-turned comfy couches and a bar that invites you to sit down and share a beer with Chuck, the owner (whose stories are just as incredible as the place he built). Attached to the bar is an antique shop that showcases more of Chuck's craftmanship, his love for classic cars and one-of-a-kind finds you probably won't see anywhere else.If I ever find my way back to Texas, Iron Eagle will be my first stop.”
“I love coming here!! Menudo and tripas on the weekend is awesome. All their tacos are made with fresh tortillas to order. Of course the fruit cups are great too!!”
“so so so delicious, tastes like abuelita's kitchen. the depth of flavors is absolutely ridiculous and fabulously amazing dishes. Birria tacos and quesadillas were the best I've ever had and the consume complimented perfectly. I can't wait to try to entire menu. Home made fruity drinks are super refreshing. Prices are very reasonable.”
“We went here after round top and everything was great! The service was good and the wine special was delicious and a great price compared to store prices. The pizza was very tasty and everything was clean and lovely. We will definitely eat here again!”
