I'm from Louisiana so keep that in mind as I review. This is the only Mexican restaurant I've been to in Texas but this is EASILY hands down by far the best Mexican food I've ever had. If this is what all Mexican restaurants are like in Texas than louisiana is severely* missing out. The steak, sausage, the RICE the salsa just every part of the meal was incredible. Margaritas were good and strong. The place itself was a bit warm but other than that it's a great place.

Huge portions and good margaritas! They will make the guacamole right at your table. I had the fajitas and had to take some home.

The food is decent, but not worth the trouble. I've eaten here for lunch at least once a week. The past 5 times my order (from the lunch special) has been wrong. I've also had to get up and get my own drinks nearly every time I've been! In my last experience, I went for lunch at 11:30 am on a Monday. It took 45 min for my food because they lost the ticket! They would've known I didn't have my food if they would've come to check on us during the 45 min! Our waitress was super rude and when I asked to speak to the manager, the manager did NOTHING to keep our business! Piss. Poor. Service.

We went last night and the service was awful and the food was worse! The quesadillas were burnt and served like a taco instead of quesadillas. The waitress brought my husband a drink with no ice in it as well. When I ask to see the manager. Was told their wasn’t one there. They still charged us for the uneatable food too! Worse place we have ever ate at!

Driving thru and decided to stop for a bite. Homemade salsa was great and had an excellent kick to it. I had the #5 special (subbing the Chicken Suisa enchiladas for cheese) and the dish was delicious. My boyfriend had the #3 stewed meat and loved it. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful friendly service allowing to get in and out in 30min and back on the road.
