Greeted by the worker as soon as we walked in. Ordered our food and got it within 30 seconds. Food was hot and fresh. Fries were crispy and the Texas toast was nice. Chicken was flavorful and delicious. If I had one complaint is that the front of the restaurant where we sat was freezing. Shivered through most of the meal. However I would definitely come back again.Parking: One handicap and one regular spot in front of the restaurant but there was more to the side where you can park.

On my way to Cane's & decided to try Laynes instead. Won't be back. I typically like "holes" & could have liked this one but my chicken was cold & chewy. Fries were good and so was the service but I was expecting the chicken to shine & it was pretty

Came through the drive thru at 12:30am and was told there were no spicy tenders!!! The order taker was very dry with us and forgot our extra sauce we ordered and straw. Smh this is unacceptable!!

This is a must try! It's a mom and pop place with simply great chicken. I had the 4 piece chicken fingers and they were kind enough to let me have two regular and two spicy. Both are tasty and I like the spicy better. It's not spicy hot but is flavorful. The chicken is good on its own and the sauce makes it taste better. Plus the price is still decent... 4 pieces of chicken, fries, toast and a large drink for about $11. The staff is friendly and helpful too.

Our party of four got a big laugh when the employee gave us a "free" cookie for a party of four for our very long wait for drive-thru service. However, we noticed after leaving they didn't give us the actual two cookies that were ordered and paid for in the drive-thru line!

I’m a native to Bryan, college station. I’ve always loved Laynes but in the past few months they have been going down hill. They bumped there prices up which I understand, but now they don’t give you Cole slaw or potato salad. The tenders are getting smaller and then I got an order and there were not that many fries ( as seen in the pic). It compared to what they used to have it wasn’t that much. I asked if I could have a little more and the manager said “ that’s a serving “ and would not according at all

I prefer Laynes’s chicken more than Canes.Layne’s sauce is incredibly better than Canes sauce ?.Toast was thin but more buttery, and very delicious. However I prefer a soft pillow like bread from Canes.Potato salad was more than fresh and flavorful??Vegetarian options: Not vegan. But vegetarian?? ??Kid-friendliness: ????Wheelchair accessibility: ????

Food-yum! service-fast and correct, ambiance-meh. Their chicken tenders are delicious, and the dipping sauce is to die for!

I pulled through the drive through at Texas and Walton. Ordered two FOUR finger boxes. I noticed the change to the menu options at the kiosk. The institution we have have embraced all these years has become commercialized. More choices and less actual food for your money. When I got home and opened the boxes, we each only received three chicken fingers and a paltry helping of minaturized crinkle fries. If you want potato salad or extra fries you must now ante up an additional sum of money. Layne's has succumbed to Joe Biden's economics. You show me a picture over here and while my attention is averted, you short change me and charge me extra. It's the KANSAS CITY SHUFFLE live , here in College Station....

Honestly, I prefer canes. My food was too salty, the fries weren’t fresh and unfortunately the staff was rude.

Was at Texas A&M for a recruiting event and an alum recommended we stopped by Layne's on our way back to Austin. Similarly to Cane's they offer chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and their own special sauce. Unlike Cane's their chicken, and not just the sauce, had an immense amount of flavor. Their chicken tenders come in two flavors, spicy or regular and I opted for a mixture of both. While I am a spicy fan, expect a KICK when you bite into it. I'm very glad I had some regular to combat the heat. Wish Layne's was more of a chain because I would definitely be there frequently. Will 100% return the next time I'm in College Station!
