“The absolute best Winery! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the wine is superb. Everyone at Brennan’s is so friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re coming through Comanche, TX….it’s a must stop!”
“My mother, daughter and I were passing through on our way to Fredricksburg yesterday for a Mothers Day trip and had a hard time finding somewhere to eat. Now we realize that it was a God thing. After googling and calling to see if they were open, we headed over. They met us at the table with a cup of beans right off the bat - which was great because by that time we were starving! We are huge buiscut and gravy girls so that is what we all got and they did not disappoint. I also had a side serving of their cranberry and stuffing with some lemon pie to go. Not only were we unanimous in CP being the best restaurant food we have had in a while, but the women there made you feel like family. This will now be our go to when out this way.”
“Homemade food at it's best!! The staff welcomes with smiles all time. They are open 7 days a week. Google says they are closed Sundays but that is incorrect. Best menudo with patas!”
“10\10 best catfish aroundKid-friendliness: They accommodated my buddies picky kid and made him a chicken sandwich that’s not on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat ground/parking straight to the entrance”
“I got the Chicken Salad Sandwich on a toasted Sourdough Bun with Chips. Possibly the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. Friendly staff. Cash only establishment.”
“the service was fantastic today. talk about pleasing the customer, all three of the female workers. wow! GIVE THEM A RAISE. THEY ARE KEEPERS! 11/24/23. 2:15 PM. FRIDAY Seriously, reward them well boss!!”
“This small town spot was a treasure. All my substitutions were met without delay. Three eggs added, even a couple of grilled jalapeños. Definitely a cozy atmosphere, recommended.”
“I’ve only been here four times now but have nothing bad to say. In my opinion, it’s the best place in Comanche to eat at. Authentic and they aren’t skimpy with how much meat they put on your plate.”
“It's very fast. The service is of good quality. Very friendly. Very clean. The food is good. A little crowded. Sometimes you can eat there. The place inside has games of ?. It's excellent. I recommend it.”
“This was the first time I have been to a Chicken Express and I'm very impressed with the chicken and the gravy not happy about the biscuits but the rolls are to die ”
“Everything was great. The server and food was awesome. Only complaints we had was we seemed rushed on the birthday outing as well as squeezed in and uncomfortable ti the point we ate and left. Wish it was more comfortable and didn't feel rushed at 8pm on a Friday evening.”
“I have mixed feelings about giving this review. A back country, all you can eat catfish, chicken strips, steak fingers, salad, friends and hush puppies along with a handful of there items you can order from their menu. One business out in the middle of the country. We went at night, so I'm not exactly how it looked from the outside. Wasn't obvious which door to enter, but we made it into the building. Got in and notice how short the ceiling was. I'm about 6'5" and I had to duck. There is a slope to the ceiling, so as you shift, you can get to a ceiling that is tall enough to not duck.Went to pay for the all you can eat and handed hery card, to which she said cash only. Wasn't certain if ai had cash but she immediately reached for a card with their address and said we could just mail payment to them. I've never heard of that. Wow. I did have cash enough. Now to the food. The catfish was pretty tasty. I'd give it about an 7+ out of 10. I'm huge on fish, so it was pretty good. Flavored right, kind of smallish pieces, but over all did the job.The chicken tenders were breaded right and we're tender. I am confident to give them a solid 8+.Steak fingers. I missed them on my first pass and almost missed them on my second pass. They weren't really warm and seemed as if they may have sat there for a bit. I can't in good conscience rate them. I had three bites... And set them to the side. I would like to have them fresh out of the cooker next time.Seasoned fries were very good. I got some just as they came out. I'd give them a 9. The hush puppies, maybe a 5-6. They didn't have any type of vibrant taste and they may have been there for a while also.Wife had the self-served salad. Was a simple, what looked like iceberg lettuce, with tomato wedges, white onion, shredded cheddar, and ranch. She enjoyed it and remarked that it was all fresh and the ranch was good. A few more components like maybe egg or croutons, maybe a cucumber could have brought it up to a 9 to 9+. But it gets an 8+ for being as fresh as it was.Coleslaw was very simple, but fresh. Not the KFC style that many are used to, but you could taste all the flavors and I liked it. 8 for that. The cocktail sauce was really good as was the tartar. 8+ for the tarter, 9 for the cocktail.Plastic plate, plastic utensils for the all you can eat. Overall we enjoyed our meal. Atmosphere was just basic, but the food did us well. I read that they had a ribeye. Said they had a real knife for that. May have to try that next time. We will return. Good value for the money. It was $20 per.”
“Great fresh food every time. Service is always pleasant. Family owned and ran. Couldn't ask for a better cafe in Comanche. Ask for Angela to wait on you, she's great at her job. And be sure to thank her mom who's cooking your meal in the kitchen.”
“A great DQ!! Weekday specials are always great! The customer service is always good. This is a busy DQ, be patient with the workers, your food will be fresh and delicious!”
“They got a 'lil bit of everything, and the tots are better than Sonic, 'nuf said. Very friendly staff. We will definitely be back on our way to and from Kerrville.”
