“The restaurant has changed alot since initially opening. It's a bit disconcerting to develop favorites only to return later and the item is no longer on the menu. Seafood was decent. However the etoufee, while expensive, was taste wise top notch. The internal layout of tables is not the best. The dining room feels cramped. There are no booths. Service was friendly and attentive.”

Cafe is Behind sale barn. Sale is on Tuesdays, so it would be crowded. Closed Saturdays. Accepts credit cards.”

“Stop here! This super clean, funky little restaurant connected to a tire shop is a wonderful surprise. Whatever Mrs. Tillis is cooking, it's going to be good! The owners are very friendly, genuinely good people. Ms.Betty is also very friendly and will make sure you leave full and happy. Comfort food at it's best. Everything we had on the plate lunches was delicious. I will definitely go out of my way to eat here when in the area.”

“My daughter and husband love the catfish. We've frequented this restaurant for years since it was on Loop 304. It's so good that I drove from Houston to Crockett for a catering order for my grandmother's birthday party for 250 people. They all loved the brisket.”

“I came through this morning feeling completely down I got an ice water and Jessie was my order taker he took great care of me. Very nice and smiley. Great personality hope to see him run that place one day.”

“Went last week I ordered ahead I understand they were closing in about 15min went through drive thru lights out on sign Noone responded on the speaker so I drove around and honked lightly waiting no response honked a little louder the girl came to the windows not so friendly and I explained I knew they were closing in 15 but I had already ordered ahead she looked and said nothing a few minutes later had my order I explained the only reason I drove around I knew she was closing she replied well I'm closing which I understood No matter the OPEN SIGN was still on as well She was NOT friendly at all which is unusual for this location
I called and left a recording on their voicemail Noone returned my call 3 days later after asking for a call from the manager

“We are NOT big BBQ people, but Mimsy's is amazing!! From the pork ribs, to pork chop that is so big, cooked to perfection, you can't HELP but take it all!! The Sprouts are our favorite, OMG they are the best we EVER tasted!! Everything we tasted made us not just full, but lusting for more! This place is a Texas BBQ oasis! And we are damn LUCKY to live in Crockett where we can go anytime we want!”

“CROCKETT TEXAS TACO BELL, THANK YOU!!! Y'all are awesome we came in late Black Friday night. We were Starving! There was 10 of us on way home to Apple Springs from Dallas. We got there about 15 min until closing time...... we were treated amazingly good ( so close to closing on a Friday) Most other places would have given us the Riot Act lol..... Everyone working was professional and just seemed happy to be at work. These days I really value how the employees feel and act shows that they're Appreciated!!!! Our food was fresh, good, and even brought it to our tables. So thank you all again it was so nice to have such an amazing experience given the circumstances especially! I hope your manager sees this review and looks who was working that night because you were amazing!”

“Well, this lil place was very enjoyable, our server was awesome, kept us busy with refills and was very helpful when choosing our meals. The steaks were done more than our liking and she glady took them back.

Considering the location here this place has its own vibe. Can't go wrong stopping in and trying something off their vast menu.

“I used to eat here 30 years ago, and the quality is still as good. The buns are toasted greasy and the burger was stacked with tons of vegetables and really thick patties. It’s my cheat day and I tell you what I wish we had one of these in Kentucky.”
