“We are at John E’s tonight passing thru Crosby. The food was excellent. The three of us had boiled shrimp, gumbo, and fried fish and no complaints from anyone. The lighting gave me a major headache. There are about a thousand little spotlights on a rail system that shine in your eyes no matter where you look. I don’t recall our waitresses name but I think we would have had better service without a waitress at all….no checking on us after we got our food and zero drink refills. We ended up tipping another waitress to get our check after we sat patiently for at least 15 minutes after we finished our meal.Food: easy 5 starsOur waitress: 0 stars“
“I love the Angry Crab Shack. My husband and I went here for dinner, and everything was wonderful. We arrived just before happy hour was over and the drinks were half off. The drink selection was great, we tried the hurricane, Cajun Bloody Mary, and the bucket of rum which was my favorite. My favorite place to get a Bloody Mary was Salt Grass Steak House, until now. I thought a Bloody Mary couldn't get any better, then I tried the Angry Crab Shack Cajun Bloody Mary, the Angry Crab Shack went to the next level by far with the Cajun Bloody Mary. The Angry Crab Shack has a wonderful selections of sauce. We tried theTrifecta, it prefect blend of Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic, which Eric highly recommended. Eric the manager at the Angry Crab Shack goes above and beyond with the customers and staff. Eric's devotion, care, and love for the Angry Crab Shack is so nurturing that we thought he was the owner. The Angry Crab Shack is by far my new favorite restaurant. I would love to eat here everyday if my husband would let me. I highly recommend the Angry Crab Shack to anyone that likes seafood or just looking for a good mix drink with a great atmosphere.“
“Best cajun food in the Lake Houston area! Cafe Rian is a Monthly-Must for me and my wife. We love the community feel as people of all walks of life are welcomed and treated with real southern hospitality. I’d recommend this spot for a casual date night, family meal, or your small scale celebrations. You can’t go wrong with the boudin balls, wings, or pasta! During cooler months the outside seating area is clutch! The bar area is small, the wooden seats are a little uncomfortable, and at times the music can be too loud for conversation. Nonetheless, I’d still go here anytime as you’ll get good service and some very VERY good food.“
“A very fun hole in the wall with great service. But of course we come here for the food. Don’t we and the food is amazing. The PHO is wonderful and you can even get a very small size which gives your stomach room for the absolutely delicious mouthwatering catfish.they have a good variety of delicious Cajun and fall stuff but you can’t go wrong with a small bowl of PHO and some catfish filling and very affordable, considering the prices of many catfish places. You won’t be disappointed!“

Oh, and don’t forget to order your homemade lemonade, not too sweet and not too sour but just right.The 6 lbs of @ $9.99 & potatoes /corn @ $1.25 ea. was delicious & hot. You have three Flavors to chose from Cajun, garlic butter, or mix Cajun/garlic butter. Of course we tried the mix and no complaints. “Awesome place! We found it by accident and are so glad we did. We both got the Seafood Box with Cajun Turkey necks as an appetizer. The Turkey necks were ridiculously good…super tender in a spicy broth you want to eat with a spoon. The Seafood Box had boiled shrimp, crab, a sausage (made there at the restaurant), corn, potato, and an egg. You can choose your spice level and there are several sauce options as well. Delicious food and great service too! We will definitely go back again.“
“Stopped in for some pizza ? Had excellent customer service from BRI! She greeted us right away. We asked about good Friday (no meat options) she mentioned the shrimp pizza! This was amazing! She even offered us crust options as we are a house divided (thin and hand-tossed)We asked about the wings and she recommended them. They are great! After speaking with her she recommended the low tide beer option to go with our pizza. The place was clean, well lit, and great vibe!!! They had the game on even. What more could you ask for? BRI has ser the bar for customer service here. Highly recommend!!“

These Crawfish are amazing and all the veteran crawfish eaters are saying the same thing! You are missing out if you pass these guys up!
