“This was our first time coming to crawfish cafe and it was so good! When we arrived, there was a short line and we waited about 5 minutes before being seated. We had the crawfish, garlic noodles, queso and cracklins and fried shrimp and catfish plate. Everything was good and the crawfish was 10/10. I got the kickin Cajun flavor with “spicy” spice level which was really spicy but GOOD! Jennifer was our waiter and she was very welcoming and friendly. She met all of our needs even while training another staff member! Our experience here was excellent and we will return!“

I bought 3lbs of their kickin style flavor. A little on the sweet side for my liking but still very tasty. Corn was good. Sausage was OK. I don't ever care for potatoes but the wife wanted some. Also got the shrimp and fish basket with Cajun fries. Overall we were extremely satisfied. Crawfish was 8.99/lb. Decent size. Only a few dead ones. The shrimp was seasoned and fried perfectly. And so was the fish (I requested for catfish). All in all I would definitely go back again. The wife isn't a big crawfish eater or fried food but even she liked it a lot!!“
“Why is it great? I had crawfish etouffee. It was the right level of spicy. My mother had the pan seared trout, which came out crispy and buttery. My waitress anticipated every want. “I was looking for real gulf catfish and a nice cocktail. So I searched Google and Yelp reviews in my area and found RIAN'S. This eatery more than met my expectations, Rodney was very hospitable and explained their menu offerings very well! A couple of "regulars" came in for a quick drink and we made great conversation about their great experiences at RIAN'S as well. They were just opening and preparing for a busy day, but that did stop them from providing excellent service and food. I had the crawfish dip with the house made chips, catfish and crab fried rice. My drinks were the blueberry lemon drop and their version of a good old fashioned! I'll try their sidecar on my next visit. I heard great things about them! “OMG everything is great about this Treebeards location! Food and staff were AWESOME and the restaurant and patio are amazing ?. My wife and I ate here and I had the chicken fried chicken, collard greens and mashed potatoes and she had the shrimp etoufee and we had some wonderful jalapeño cornbread. Now, I order the medium Gumbo and a piece of fried fish. The fried fish didn't even make it back to work. Crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. Baby that GUMBO was soooooo good. Filled with chicken and shrimp and sausage. Also came with a crab leg too! Really did taste like my grandmothers gumbo. Just because it's on the inside of a gas station don't look past it. “Pappasito’s has been one of my favorite restaurants in Houston for many years.We have not been to Pappasito's in a while due to their ever increasing prices, but we tried it one more time on last Thursday.It was around 3:00pm. Not many people. The "Hostess" did not want to seat me. I looked around the empty restaurant and asked why she would not seat me and told me the wait would be 20 minutes. I called the manager. And he gave me an excuse that they were short in personnel and I have to wait, instead of seating us and committing to provide a good positive experience regardless as they have always done it. My positive experience has not been the same and they keep raising their prices to a point that it’s ridiculous high. Lunch for three people, a beef quesadilla, two tacos, a small tortilla soup, water and two drinks $40 per person? Something in their management has changed.“
