This place is amazing. Started off with the fried green tomatoes. The wife, who typically doesn't order them at a restaurant, stated they were the best she has ever had. I absolutely agree.For lunch we ordered the crawfish etouffee, chicken & sausage gumbo, salmon salad, and blackened shrimp remoulade salad. WOW...EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING.If you are in Houston, and you like authentic canjun food, give Floyd's Seafood Restaurant a try.
The grilled cheese (it has gouda and seafood) absolutely delicious and filling. If u get an extra side, because it comes w/one its enough to share with someone. The gumbo has a good taste but it's a bit watery. Oh and the oysters are definitely worth trying.

I was staying at La Quinta and smelled their food when on my way to check in. I caved. Reasonably priced, small town restaurant feel in a bustling city, great waitress who helped me by giving her opinion on astrophotography I was editing, and great food. I'll likely visit again next time I'm in the area.
