The food was okay, drinks were amazing and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was very cozy and friendly. Will be back again but definitely order a different meal.choice.
Upon entering Floyd's we were greeted with open, welcoming smiles and seated. Our server came to our table within a few moments. When she was asked about where the shrimp and oysters were harvested from, she wasn't sure. She did, however, ask and came back quickly with her answer - "The Gulf". Everyone's food was very tasty, plated attractively, and served at the right temperatures. A Four Star rating ..It's important for staff to be knowledgeable about origins of seafood, meats, etc. As for atmosphere, the Ladies room could have more attention . Definitely will go back though.Dietary restrictions: If you are pescatarian this is a great place!
I was craving crawfish and they were close to the house! A little small and pricey... but delicious!

I was staying at La Quinta and smelled their food when on my way to check in. I caved. Reasonably priced, small town restaurant feel in a bustling city, great waitress who helped me by giving her opinion on astrophotography I was editing, and great food. I'll likely visit again next time I'm in the area.
Good size crawfish. The potatoes and corn needed more spice.

This place is amazing. Started off with the fried green tomatoes. The wife, who typically doesn't order them at a restaurant, stated they were the best she has ever had. I absolutely agree. For lunch we ordered the crawfish etouffee, chicken & sausage gumbo, salmon salad, and blackened shrimp remoulade salad. WOW...EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING.If you are in Houston, and you like authentic canjun food, give Floyd's Seafood Restaurant a try.

sat down. table next to us left without being served, we were never approached, new group sat down, they were offered drinks. servers who appear to all be kids were just pointing to see who takes responsibility for the tables. left without even being offered a drink after 15 minutes.
