I ordered the red enchiladas but I wanted to substitute the cheese because I’m not a fan of tons of mozzarella on my enchiladas, $2.00 extra and then $2.00 extra for topping . The red sauce was ok . Beans and rice are excellent. Hibiscus tea was not cold or sweet enough, I used to really enjoy this place ..
I just want to say that the waitress I had was so sweet & great.Now my issue would be with the cooks, We asked the waitress if we could add hominy to our menudo. Normally, it doesn't come with it. My sister asked for extra ON THE SIDE.The waitress did mention that the cooks in the back were "very picky," so what they did to our bowl seemed quite petty because we got more hominy than menudo. Great Mexican food.Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of choices for gf and allergies. Ate the cheese dish, which is just a bowl of melted Mexican cheese. It was good and a lot of cheese!
