We came here for the first time today, around the heart of lunch time on a Sunday. The place was empty (there was one other table when we left) and the staff leapt into action upon our arrival. They did not disappoint.The place is in the strip of shops adjacent to the Sam's/Walmart complex on Retail Road, barely noticeable from the outside. I had the carne flamingo and it was seriously delicious. It’s hard to find a good Tex Mex restaurant (I know I am in the minority) that has food that is actually full of flavor and good. My steak was super tender as well. This is a well kept secret that needs to get out!

Food is excellent. Owner is the original owner of Veracruz in Bishop Arts, my favorite Mexican restaurant in Dallas. The menu here isn't identical, but the food quality (and excellent margaritas) are very similar.They're in a strip center, was worried they might not make it, but recent visits have found it full and bustling. Glad to see it.
