Be very aware if you sign a contract for a table of eight you will be spending at least $300 per couple with gratuity demanded at 27%. Oh, and don’t forget you have to sit there for three hours with food that is mediocre. The chef was trying to be cool, but it was not at all. We will never go there again.

We had a fair sandwich here while waiting for our next flight. Nothing great, but edible & good enough to hold you over to your final destination.

Incredible Christmas Eve dinner here for our first visit to Homewood. Generous quantities, perfect cook, unique flavors. Menu rotates constantly so it’s truly farm to table. Restaurant feels so homey and connected with a fully exposed kitchen and a ton of fun seating options.

First off, there didn't seem to be anyplace to sit where you weren't getting a chilly draft from a door. Second, I thought the appetizer was "blah," and the pasta entree was a miniscule portion considering how expensive it was.

I've been just about everywhere in Dallas. Few provide the balance of ambiance, service, and outstanding food. Homewood is a winner in all regards. The bread as others have attested is ridiculous. The pork chop and pasta we split was impeccably prepared and absolutely delicious. Our server, Riley, was helpful and friendly and down to earth, something as well not many get right in this area of town. Superb. The best and brightest in a field of many. Sometimes a restaurant can give you what you want, but Homewood gives you what you need. I can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

Interior dining space is cozy and cute. There's a large bar area to sit at and also another high top bar with stools that overlooks a prep area. We ordered tuna tartare to start and it was fantastic, super fresh and it was served with pistachio, and a combo libation of minced ginger and apple. The garlic focaccia was extremely good as was the cultured butter it was served with. Pasta was good, unique dishes that were full of flavor. We got the pappardelle and one other pasta dish with beets (pictured). They change their menu weekly which is also very unique. Super fresh and tasteful ingredients. Service was rather quick, especially for a busy Friday night.

Hey y'all honest review here. Lucked into a rez night Friday night (first flag in retrospect) This restaurant was a 6.5-7 AT MAX. Whoever gave this the 2nd best restaurant in Dallas must've hit the best seasonal harmonic of this places history....Q4 2022 wasn't it. Great cocktails, good apps, pasta was mid (Carbone destroys these pasta dishes) salmon was cooked extremely well, but the dish was not awe-inspiring. Desserts were atrocious. This was not a good value IMO. When you wear a top tier crown, you need to perform. Ambiance was cramped. Wait staff was polite but not as attentive as one would think. For the price Georgie, or Cry Wolf wins. Different cuisine but bomb the table at Uchi with apps and Nigiri for the same price and leave with a truly memorable experience.

Food was excellent. Our server was excellent. But the childish hissy fit power trip the sous chef running the pass was having definitely put a damper on the meal and was a disappointment. Eaten here many times and always had a lovely experience. I’ve eaten at the kitchen counter many times, I always enjoy watching the food be made. But since it’s a completely open kitchen just steps from the tables, you can see everything and it got rather uncomfortable watching the sous chef berate the other chefs. For no reason at all. I enjoyed interacting with the other chefs near us, and they were great. I just mostly felt bad for the staff they had to put up with that terrible behavior…esp in a time when restaurants are struggling to have enough help and make enough money and have a field of chefs struggling with mental health issues. I really hope that the head chef and owners don’t tolerate that kind of “leadership” but it doesn’t seem like a one time offense. I’m not sure I will ever come back because I want to support people who are doing things the right way, which is unfortunate because this used to be one of my favorite places in DFW. We left a note with our bill expressing our experience, I hope it got shared with management. It’s not a cheap meal either, I understand wanting to make sure the food is up to standards, but be aware of your surroundings and be respectful no matter what position you’re in.

Creative and amazing dishes, cooked with care and wholesome ingredients. Came here for a work dinner and tried the grilled carrots, foccacia, pan seared chicken, fusilli, tuna crudo and salad. Left super full but feeling great as all the dishes were relatively healthy. Don't skip dessert! They were an interesting combo of sweet and savory but the flavors worked well together.

I've passed Homewood many times and have always wanted to try it. It seems to have a home-y feel from the outside and seems welcoming. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday, but we finally made it in on a Thursday for my birthday. It was a very pleasant experience, and the food was flavorful. We ordered the bread as a starter, which came out with a seasoned ball of butter, it was delicious. I ordered the bucatini and it had a nice balance of spicy and savory. My boyfriend got the half chicken which was so much food and we had to take some home. The staff works as a team which leads to pretty efficient service. However, for drinks we ordered a beer and a wine and it took a hot minute for them to come to the table. It took so long that our food was right behind! The only other drawback was that I wish there had been more explanation of the menu since we did mention it was our first time and some of the pastas are named Italian terms I was not familiar with. Luckily, I just googled things at the table and everything we chose was very good. We finished the meal with a tiramisu dessert and the staff thoughtfully wrote Happy Birthday on it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, especially to celebrate a life event like a birthday.

Today was my second visit. I highly recommended this place to my friends after my last visit. The valet service was awesome today; those gentlemen outside kept us dry in pouring rain. The ladies in the front were very welcoming. Despite their hospitality, compared to my last visit, sadly, today was a disappointment. It was also our mistake for not reading the fine prints on the menu, but we received no explanation of today's menu nor were asked about any food allergies or food we don't eat. We blindly ordered, and 2/5 dishes had ingredients no one in our table could enjoy. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure if someone enjoys those particular ingredients, they would love those dishes, as their quality is top notch. I just really wish today's server spent more time to explain the menu, so that we could actually enjoy the meal.

Any restaurant that is a James Beard nomination Is always on my go to list to try. My husband and I were in Dallas for a weekend visit and booked a dinner here. I love the seasonal items they have on the menu and the presentation for all of the dishes was nothing less than beautiful. We ordered the garlic focaccia, the oysters, butternut squash, and the pork chop. I wasn't crazy about one of the cocktails but might have ordered wrong. The service was good and our waitress was very knowledgeable on all the dishes. Definitely a restaurant to try!

One of the best restaurants in Dallas. If you're lucky enough to get a spot at the kitchen counter you're in for a treat. Menu is creative and always changing but they always seem to deliver. Super talented team throughout the restaurant.

The service and food were top notch! The vibe and feel of the restaurant is awesome and the people were great. Super creative dishes and beautiful execution. Props to the chef and team at Homewood!

I was so excited to dine at Homewood. The service is fantastic, everyone who works there is lovely and warm. But I was sadly so underwhelmed by the food. We tried three pasta dishes and the flavor profiles didn't work for me in a single one of them. The focaccia bread was next level though! The menu changes often so it might be worth going back to try different things, but at the price point they have (~35 for one roll-up of pasta) it's a dice game to try again on another menu. Lovely ambiance, and many people love it here so try it for yourself, but the menu we had was sadly not to my tastes this time.
