Lotus is the best place to be each and every Saturday. The African vibe there will bring out the tribe in you. The organizers Ateam are well coordinated. They always deliver what they promise to their customers. The security is inside is top notch. Critics are saying that Lotus cannot be overthrown for Saturday afrobeat relaxation moment. Will visit again and again
It was a very urban spot with out the urban. The dj played the same songs over and over again. The drinks were overpriced and the staff underdressed. The crowd was less then lit and it was a good attempt at a club at best. Being from Houston I expected such and should have just paid to go downstairs

I went to Lotus around 1:30 AM on Sunday (Saturday night going into Sunday) with one of my best friends. The cover was $20. The djay played Afrobeat mostly with r&b hits here and there. They do have a dress code, but you can wear sandals. The drinks we on the pricier side ($27 for a Casamigos margarita, $19 for a Casamigos shot), but the bartender did her thing!
