This style of sushi is known as "Edo-mae Sushi." "Edo" refers to the former name of Tokyo during the Samurai era, and "mae" means "in front of." Originally, sushi was a very local food like tacos from a food truck in the past.In ancient Tokyo, people would get fresh seafood from Tokyo Bay and season it by themselves to preserve the freshness and flavor.
Exceptional in every way. Since I live in SF, I tend not to seek out sushi when I travel to Dallas but decided to check this place out. And I’m glad I did. Traditional in one sense but creative in another, attention to detail, super fresh ingredients, great service. Highly recommend. And sorry the lack of photos, I was too into the experience.

Super cute patio seating area! Along with great service, amazing sushi selection, high quality, fresh, and very tasteful! Did the $75 lunch tasting, and everything was perfectly curated. My favorite was the Katsuo sashimi. My server said something about that they pickle their own ginger, and ginger was so so good! 10/10 would recommend!
