“Some of the best Mexican fare I’ve ever had. The carne asada plate was phenomenal and I highly recommend. Even the chips and salsa were perfect. I just came off a week long vacation at a resort in Dominican so I didn’t want think food could get better this week. I came during lunch so parking was pretty easy but I could see it being a little more complicated at busier times.“
“Beautiful little spot off Singleton Blvd. Great decor which I'm sure looks better at night with the neon lights on. Casual Mexican eatery boasting a great selection of food and pre-made cold drinks and bottled water, Jarritos, beer, etc. Definitely a great spot to come eat with friends, on a quick work lunch or a solo hang. I had the Quesabirrias which comes with 3 tacos, veggies for dressing, a spicy mild green salsa and a hotter salsa, both delicious. The console comes with it. My only gripe is I'd probably like the consome hotter/piping hot. I did take 5 minutes to eat between washing my hands, etc, but it was barely warm then. Beyond that, I'll definitely be back and bring my girlfriend with me.Parking: Parking around the back through an alley. Look for a sign on your left right after passing Fridas main door. Fits about 10 cars comfortably.“
“Stopped here without knowing anything about the restaurant. Just had a craving for Mexican food. Visited during early dining hours so the atmosphere wasn't that much but that was probably timing. But, the food, was great. Started out with chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsas were flavorful. Ordered the seafood enchilada and enjoyed every morsel on the plate. Even the beans and rice stood out. Service was excellent too. Overall, was very impressed and would eat here again.“
“I love coming here with the kids! There’s something for everyone! && Nubia herself is super sweet… I usually get a diablito with pineapple and its sooo good! The food is good and well seasoned. I also think she has the best pickle kits because everything is included plus more.“
“The food and drinks were delicious! It took a minute for our server to get to our table but he was great once he got there. I had 2 Papi Chulo drinks and they were both delicious. They also had just the right about of liquor. The Barreled Nachos are HUGE! They should definitely be shared. They taste even better than they look. They had plenty of steak on them and the flavor was great. The queso was also really good. The fajitas weren’t my dish but I was able to taste and they also had great flavor. I’m not a vegetarian but I’ve heard those options are also flavorful.I took a star off of my rating because our table and menus were DIRTY but someone cleaned the table and we got cleaner menus after we let out server know. But to be clear that won’t stop me from going back.Parking: I’m sure the day of week and time you go has an impact but parking can be a challenge. I went during the week and at lunch time and I had to make the block twice to find a meter. There are parking lots but I have no idea how much they cost because they don’t have clear prices posted anywhere. The bottom line is be prepared to walk a few blocks or pay a few dollars for parking.“
“We came during Friday Happy Hour for dinner: super attentive service, Majid is friendly & silly. He will crack you up and take care of you real good!Hubz had some decent margs on the rocks, I had topo Chico for drinks. Queso, chips and salsa are perfect! All 3 are the authentic recipes I like. For dinner hubz had the Juan's plate, I had shrimp chile relleno. It's kinda rare to find a place that offers so many dishes with shrimp, mushrooms and or spinach so this impresses me.If you come to party ask for Majid! Haha“
